Holiday was fine.
Its your company that needs improving.
On site holiday rep maybe? How about a telephone for customers to call. Do you think a 4 hour wait for your online chat is acceptable. How about returning holiday deposits to peoples accounts when they cancel holidays. I had to give a bad review just for my refund to be sent back.

I have booked with onthebeach.ie previously. The booking process is straightforward and everything seems positive. Until! I received an email from Ryan Air advising my return flight in November has been brought forward by 2 days. I contacted OTB on 2nd May via live chat which isn't actually live but a BOT. I received no response until 1st June from a no reply email address, with a subject line "Urgent" advising me to review the email received from the airline and let OTB know immediately via the OTB Portal so that they can update the accommodation reservation. The only option to let them know is via Live Chat which you keep going around in circles. When I advised "Sunny" the BOT that I wished to make a complaint I was then advised Live chat was closed even though this was before 18:30 as indicated on the website. I tried again this morning and the wait time was 1-3 hours to speak to a person. I have just tried again now and the wait time is 3-5 Hours. It is appalling for any Company to think that any Customer seeking assistance should have to sit in a chat queue for 3-5 Hours, there is no excuse for this, none whatsoever. My previous chat timed out in any case. So here is my booking Reference:MYB14930813B and I trust that somebody at some point will contact me to confirm that you have updated my accommodation to reflect the new flight schedule and any difference in monies for two nights accommodation will be reflected. I should not have to resort to leaving a negative review to gain assistance, however after a month waiting for a response, to then be left with no realistic support from OTB via the website other than to sit in a chat queue for up to 5 hours. I wait in hope for some meaningful contact.

I booked a holiday through on the beach for our silver wedding anniversary. Ryanair changed the flights, I found new ones and wanted to transfer the details. On the beach has no customer service at all only "Sunny" the chat bot who does not work. You just go round in circles. I will not book a holiday through this company again. It's a shame because I have used them many times in the past but this experience has been appalling and we haven't even finished paying!

Great holiday in Aria Claros Beach Resort Hotel in Izmir, Turkey. Aqua park was amazing for kids with allot of slides and right beside kids club and main aqua park. Beach is right beside pools so easy to go back and forth between all. We'll worth staying here and extra thanks to animation team, September & Jasmin, whom were great

Terrible experience which is causing me so much stress!
I understand your online chat only however you cannot speak to a human, you just go round in circles with a bot! My flights been changed, airport has been changed and times have been changed, I need my transfers airport parking airport lounge all changing to suit, I contacted a month ago with multiple attempts to contact again, I travel next week and have no heard anything! I have never used you before as used the bigger company’s before and now know why! Never been so stressed going on holiday!!

I found booking my usual October school break holiday extremely easy and I received an email instructing me to go to the Ryanair air website and a second email confirming my reservation. It was also a really competitive price👏.

We had our family holiday to Turkey booked since January, we were due to fly out in under two weeks on the 13th of June. They informed us a little while back that the flights from Cork City had been pulled so we were being flown from Dublin airport instead. We contacted the chat team last week as our return home flight still hadn't changed and we were assured not to worry that our outbound flight and hotel are still booked. We got an email today to say the whole holiday was cancelled and we'll have to wait 7 days for a refund. This gives us under a week to try and book another family holiday as we're tied to those dates. With such a short space of time to rebook all holiday prices have increased. We could of easily booked our own flights home as they were and are still available. I checked on the beach website earlier and they are selling our exact same holiday from Dublin for €1300 extra after they telling us they couldn't organise alternative flights home for us. Someone is lying. Months of planning down the drain and possibility of not finding a suitable holiday due to the refund situation, time restraints and poor planning by on the beach. Totally unacceptable in this day in age when the exact same holiday is on the site for sale. Zero Stars!!!!!!

Very disappointed with the service. I spent over two hours trying to get through to someone but was only directed to automated systems and chatbots. There was no easy way to speak with a real person, and the automated responses were not helpful in resolving my issue. Poor customer support experience overall.

Had a holiday booked for 2 weeks time, booking was cancelled this morning, advised I would recieve a full refund however when the refund came back it was £690 when the holiday was £2500!
Unable to speak to anyone, only bots! Would not recommend!!!

OVER 3 HOURS WAITING TO SPEAK TO SOME ONE TO BE TOLD THEY CAN’T HELP AND I’LL RECEIVE INFO IN 72 hours!!!!! That’s the day before we leave.

I had a Holiday booked for October for my Sons Birthday.On the beach cancelled this last week by email.I was told I would get my refund within 24hrs yet I’m still waiting.I am wanting to re book a Holiday and can’t as they have my money.Plus Holiday to same place is now going up in price daily 😡Always Booked with On the Beach and yet never received service like this.Cant even speak to anybody to discuss it.Have to chat to a Bot.

this is the second time I've booked a holiday with On the Beach, Last time everything was easy and straight forward so i decided to book again. The installment system is great as i can spread the cost and then save for spending money. The prices are more than competitive and i have recommended to a work colleague who is planning to book as well
