All of our juniors are required to take the ACT as required by the state of Nebraska. John Baylor presents the information in an entertaining method, however he truly makes the prep material meaningful. I appreciate the ability to have two different levels of the JBP according to the student's abilities. We had one student increase her score 5 points! The combination of teacher instruction and the ACT prep truly make a difference! Kudos to John Baylor and his staff!

We tried self-study programs at home, first with books, then DVDs. Then we tried local in-person programs. Success was nominal at best. It wasn't until we tried John Baylor prep courses that we began to see results. We invested in OTC online access for our children. It has worked wonderfully!!

OnToCollege provides excellent test preparation, study skills, and college going strategies for all 7-12th grade students. It was amazing to see our entire 7-12 faculty invest in the curriculum and conduct Seminars for Success last spring. We look forward to expanding on the seminars next year!

John Baylor's voice inflections, hand gestures, and rhythm of the 19 grammar rules makes it easy for students to remember the grammar & recall the rules during the test. Deb is an absolute saint about helping w/ the setup of the program & questions as they arise.

We are finding that the OnToCollege program is not only enhancing ACT scores it is helpful in classroom instruction.

Known John and used JBTP or OTC for many years while at Millard West. It was a great experience for our students at Kearney High and we will continue for the foreseeable future.

The ACT program was really valuable but when the students got to the SAT it was very similar. I realize they are supposed to choose one or the other but our school teaches both.

When we had a phone conference to set something up for our school, the staff member was very informative and helpful and did a great job with follow-up email questions too.

This is a great resource for students, schools, and parents. When students are engaged they can improve their scores.

I like the course but would like to not have to click every question when reviewing your answers.

Easier and easier to work with and implement. The staff go out of their way to continuously improve the program and provide resources needed.

I could not open the website at school. I had several students tell me that they were unable to open it. I visited with our IT person and he could not get the issue resolved. What I saw at home I would have to bring back to school for the students that did not have internet service at home.

Content is good, presentation is a little fast for the classroom setting and I know it is perhaps unavoidable due to attempting to get through the material in a standard class period. The English is especially good, Math is also of a high quality; our students saw the most point jump in these areas.

I have used the OnTo College program in my classroom for at least seven years. It provides a wonderful, focused review for my students. Although test prep can never be classified as exciting, the students are engaged and see value because the shortcuts provide them with knowledge to use on other standardized tests. For some students the review provides them with dose of reality and what they are to face if they choose a four year degree. Others preparing for the ACT have said, "Getting all this information and taking practice quizzes have made me feel more confident."

We love OnToCollege and have been using John Baylor prep tools for years! As the school counselor, I love the fact that I can separate my students by interest and ability to set up an appropriate teacher to encourage their progress. Not only are the courses good, but the extended lessons are excellent for motivated students. I highly recommend OTC as a foundation for school-wide ACT test preparation.

Perfect for students who need to get a twenty and those who are pushing for their best possible score! Can be used for all high school grade levels.

Staff is helpful and prompt with responses.

It is very difficult to track student progress as they work through the modules. The most available information (and probably least relevant) is student on-line time. Make the site easier to navigate and make student progress more accessible to administrators.

John goes a little fast in the ACT Prep of OTC. Even my best and brightest struggle with his pace.
His Fundamentals is very good for our ACT 16-20 kids!
Adding the new "gals" to teach short OTC sections has been a perk, too!

GREAT videos, and very comprehensive. I wouldn't want to try to teach SAT/ACT prep without it. Would suggest more planned interaction with the classroom instructor, and would be wonderful if some additional activities incorporated (i.e. competitive group game play).
