First they’re easy to get a hold of. Then you spend days on hold. Then they say you have to send the paperwork 3-4x after receiving emails indicating that you sent them. I’m paying 612$ a month. They offer 550$ a month, which if you take your gap insurance off you get this amount. You’re all approved have cover letter, but you do the math and you are paying 10k more and they tack on 18 more payments. I had 75 months and now at 48 months and they want to put you back at 66 months with 30$ off 612$ it’s a total scam!! And it took a month for them to screw me around

Bait and switch move. Denied refi for car mileage even though they had all of the information prior to contact. A pure waste of time.

Bait offer sent per e-mail that then requested only the trim level and mileage for my vehicle. They came back over the phone with over a 3% higher interest rate and monthly payment exceeding another $100.00 per payment. They had all the financial information (SS, Gross, etc.) the day before. Beware of this tactic and a total waste of time!

Completely misleading and sent me 9.98 preapproval and then came back at 18.99 . I have only been back in the country for 2 years and I have other approvals for 13 and 14 percent with other lenders. Do not waste your time!!!!! Completely dishonest!

On October 16th, 2025, I was approved to refinance my auto loan through open road lending. They promised a payoff check would be sent to my current lender within 3-5 business days. After 10 business days later they still never sent the payoff check. After a lot of back and forth they finally admitted the primary loan officer was out of office. The fill in loan officer missed it. Now I am late with my current lender. I am past due with a late fee. Still as of October 31st my current lender has not received the payoff check.

Open road said that FedEx lost the payoff check. So now today they said they would make a new payoff check and give me a FedEx overnight tracking number. They have not done so. Now my current lender wants their payment plus a late fee. And now open road lending partnered with Westlake and I owe them a payment within 3 weeks. I owe two banks for the same car payment. Horrible.

This entire experience was terrible. I wish I never got into this mess. I wish I never met open road. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Easy process u can do everything on your phone

Savanaha and the entire team were so easy and pleasant to work with. Some of the nicest people in the industry. Fantastic support and communications.

Not only am I grateful to have refinanced my vehicle but I am also grateful that OpenRoad was so understanding and open to work with me considering my circumstances. Easy re-fi I was a little concerned at first cause I was hit with your loan is with a different company but it seems good so far.

Your deceptive pre-approval brings hope and then misery. There is no personal involvement to see why my previously perfect credit went haywire. You make it sound so good on your 'approval' letter, and then make a hard hit to my credit, which lowers my score even more - and then decline me when I make over $100,000 a year. Shame on you for giving one hope, then dash their joy into anger. You're no different than the others.

Elizabeth Gonzales really delivered on her word. Not only did she provide world class customer service, she delivered and kept her word! She called me with updates and made sure that everything she said she was going to do she did! In this day and age coming across people like her is the reason why customers like myself stay loyal to a brand!

Jessica was instrumental in helping throughout the process making it very easy. Few questions and it was done. Jessica was quick to respond and answer all my questions. Highly recommend.
