Opensky is an absolute menace that



Opensky is an absolute menace that needs to be stopped. The fact they take joy in luring and taking care of the financial vulnerable is evil.
6 yrs back with a loss of a job, deep depression 5 months of not being able to find work - I let things fall on the wayside. When I shook myself back to life money wise was bad like 720 credit score down 485 and thus began my journey to get my life back together. On Credit Karma they offered that I had an excellent chance getting a credit card from a company called opensky and for $200 deposit which would be my credit line and they report to the credit agencies. Sounded great and signed up for a card $200 and when I got my card in the paperwork they note any issues and complaints etc that a LETTER should be sent to them xxxxx. Yup a letter not an email not a fax. Actual mail. I had a bad feeling about this company so for the next year or so I monitored them and used them with extreme caution. After a year i called them and told them I was in better credit health and would be closing the current paid off balance account and direct deposit to return my security deposit would be fine. They said they could not do that. They would mail me a check.

Anyways I was glad to be done with them and honestly wrote off ever seeing my deposit when 6 weeks later I got an honest to god check.
Cut to 2025 I worked my way back to financial stability. I was in the 740 range credit wise. I found and been with a job that pays very well and things have been consistently paid on time for years. I stopped obsessing over my credit report
maybe checking it out 2 times a year. I decided to treat myself to a new MacBook since my the laptop I had was on its death bed begging me to take it behind the barn. I went to get it financed by the Apple Card and make monthly payments
and was declined. I was confused. I had 3 credit card including an Amex by now. Why would Apple deny me. They sent an email citing something about a delinquent account that was closed and charged off. I checked my credit report and sure enough in the closed account area as a single name. Opensky.
Opensky apparently decided that my account would not be closed and apparently for years they would occasionally send to the 3 credit companies about a late payment I was supposed to make. Almost a year and a half of them claiming late payment every 3 or z5 months then apparently I went to collections and following the trial the next month into “collections” the account was closed and written off. I called them and they routed me to their collections agency. I had gone back on my checking account and pulled up the check deposited at Wells Fargo. I let the collection company know i paid off the account. Had evidence that everything was properly closed lit. And they not once ever called me about a delinquent account. The collections woman told me I need to write a letter to Opensky letting them know what was going on and to pull the closed account comment off my report. I had to actually write them a letter. 6 months later I still haven’t heard back. I keep calling and get routed to their collections agency and currently making this a legal matter.

What is a good email address to receive support from your business?

It seems this is the only way you'll interact with your clients.

Your customer support # does not get answered and there is no viable email posted online.

The emails you've sent to my inbox can not be replied to because "they don't get monitored" by your personnel.

Your negligence already negatively affected my credit score.

I can't make a payment because you blocked my bank account, and are not accepting any new payment methods such as debit cards.

I only have the one bank account that you blocked, kindly unblock it so that I can finally make a payments again.

This business is refusing to issue me a refund. Since March 23rd, I was told that my check in the amount of $1500 will be issued so call back every couple days. I finally was told that my check was mailed in the amount of $1500 was mailed on April 6th and I have yet to receive the check so I filed a dispute with my bank. Open Sky reported that since I filed a dispute with bank, that they placed a stop payment on my check and what was told to me is that the funds went to my bank which PNC has no record of. When I spoke with the representative this morning, I asked how and why the funds would go to my bank, if allegedly I was receiving a live check in the mail since April 6th, the representative said, " I do not know" but we do not have deposit to give you. This has been an ongoing battle with trying to receive my deposit back. I continue to get the run around and no one is providing me straight answers and I am asking for is my deposit back. I initially applied for the secured card, but after seeing all of the horrible reviews I immediately closed my account and was told that my deposit would come back to me. They report 4-6 weeks, but the email I received said 3 and I have yet to receive anything in the mail. After the lady told me this morning that it was sent to my bank, but when I spoke with my back, they said that it would never happen, I knew that this company is fraudulent.

Opensky has horrible customer service

Opensky has horrible customer service. Had the card for four years, always in good standing. Was even upgraded to their Gold card. Lost my job this year, called to make arrangements and they told me to call back when I can pay them. This was the first time I ever used their CS and I'm appalled by their attitude and treatment of customers.

Great prices

Great prices! I am sorry you are getting bad review because you have a similar name to a credit card. I am glad I did my research since I was skeptical do to the low scoring. I hope this gets resolve so customers can see that your company is legit and have great prices. I just bought again K18 for the fraction is the cost. Can’t wait to receive it. Hopefully I get it around Friday ( most likely I won’t ) still hopeful since I need it for Saturday but if not it’s understandable since I just placed the order last minute. Wishful thinking lol.

Scam of a company

Don’t even need the product to tell you how terrible this company is. Shop screwed up my order and charged me 34 dollars instead of the 8 I was supposed to get with the 4x bonus to shop cash. When I reached out to opensky support email both through there and the confirmation email lo and behold the email does not exist. I plan to return the device if I can and fight Shop for the cash back and then file a formal complaint about your scam of a company. If I can’t return the device since YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL DOES NOT WORK, I will file a chargeback to 8 dollars as I was supposed to pay, and if your customer service email worked you’d have been able to work this out amicably but instead you get publicly blasted. Scam of a company. Do not buy.

horrible website even worse customer service never used was going to cancel just did after finding out about one fraudulent charge unbeknownst to me blossomed into a notice only upon accruing fees gee thanks open sky for informing I had a fraudulent balance due

I signed up for this card trying to rebuild my credit. I gave a $300 deposit more than they usually ask for after I saw that every month I was making big payments and the total never went down. I almost paid $100 every month for a $300 credit limit canceled the card they kept my 300 and charge me $100 in fees after I canceled. This is not a good card to rebuild your credit. It just takes your money.fyi credit limit is what you deposit they don’t match or increase credit

My name is Dee I had a $500 credit limit I gave these people $600 dollars in 2 weeks I wasn’t even using the card yes they are definitely SCAMMERS
Then I Wired $500 because they gave me a higher credit limit and the money still not available over a week ago

Scam artist at opensky

Scam artist at opensky . Was on vacation in Florida and I signed up for a gold card , was sent a card while still on vacation, 5 weeks later on the day I gat home was charged 90 dollars and late fee and penalties. The card isn't even activated .W T F . Buyer beware

I ordered a art poster from here and it


I ordered a art poster from here and it was supposed to be 24" x 36". It came 21" x 32". So I emailed them to make it right especially since it's false advertising. And after a week of them giving me the run around. Nothing was solved. And they said there is nothing they can do. Alot of companies now a days want the consumer to waste their time returning product mess-ups from their end. So they don't have to waste their time, without fixing the issue. And making the consumer have to reorder products and still get the same results. Do not order from open sky! They are not a good company.

Reported them before

See below: I posted about this company who stole my money and never gave me product before. They are terrible at math advising that after a 2-3 day processing period I would receive my item in 15 days. I ordered this item on 1/13, they replied to my complaint saying I would have it by 2/13 (the math on this is inaccurate as I should have had it by 2/6) 2/13 would be more than one month in business days, but no problem. I waited because I am a good consumer. Guess what! 2/13 came and went with no product. SCAM! Don’t buy from them! I still haven’t received my item and it is the 15th.

Originally that would've made the delivery by 2/8 but there was a shipping delay that cause it to be moved to 2/13. It looks like the order was lost in transit and you have been refunded at this point. As for the prices, they do vary, we have some that are lower than other places and some that are higher. Also, I assure you we are not owned by WISH and are a completely different company. Open Sky is a joke

Open Sky is a joke, TWICE they took my order, charged my card and then told me the order was cancelled, for no reason.
I asked why, and recieved no response.
And yes the items are still listed.
They only exist to take down your information and populate your inbox with spam.

DEAR OPENSKY,
Please stop with the "sorry about the confusion" replies. TWICE on two seperate purchases were cancelled, without notice, without reason and don't try that "oh it's out of stock" because you STILL HAVE THE ITEMS LISTED.

USE OPEN SKY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

We are very sorry about the confusion with this item and both your orders. Normally, when an item is cancelled for being out of stock, it means we were not updated on the stock status and the listing gets flagged for removal. For some reason that did not happen this time and, again, VERY sorry. We have updated that now and the listing should not come back until it is in stock. We are certainly not perfect but we never set out to intentionally mislead any of our customers.

At first I was excited

At first I was excited, then they wouldnt take the full amount out each month like it said online. I called in and they said it was going to do the full amount. Then I lost my card and trying to get logged in my account got shut off. There is no way to contact them except to send a snail mail once you lost the number on your card. They just wanted to take my interest and make it look like I have bad credit. No way to pay and they are killing my credit and cant get ahold of anyone on the phone when I call in. Did they all take a vacation or something?
