Really helped give me an in-depth understanding of scrum, its benefits, and what's required to adopt it, would recommend Ryan and Rebecca as great teachers.

PSM I and PSPO I
Booked Optilearn courses as part of AF resettlement scheme, Optilearn and primary trainer Ryan came highly recommended from reputable transition services.

Both courses followed a similar format, delivered online using Zoom and interactive web based tools which were easy to use. Classes had a great atmosphere drawing on the varying experiences of participants and were clearly well structured and professionally delivered.

The combination of courses in addition to practice exams enabled myself to pass both exams with very limited prior experience.

All course resources are left available for life post course for follow up preparations.

Would reccomend Ryan and Optilearn for anyone wanting to complete the Scrum.org assesments.

Ryan is an excellent teacher. He engagingly facilitated the course.

The content was valuable and delivered in a manner that the lessons would be difficult to forget, I am even better equipped to support my product owner after this course.

As a Scrum Master, I learnt and picked up facilitation ideas from Ryan as well. I will happily take more courses from him.

Ryan is very friendly and prepared with documentation and supports. Explanations are very clear, and the course very well built with interactions with other members.

Ryan from Optilearn is a tell-it-like-it-is instructor. He infuses his personality which makes his training engaging. I loved when he switched his background and acted as certain stakeholders in scenarios. Ryan provides plenty of opportunity for questions and offers clear and concise information. I feel better prepared to support and understand my PO after having completed this course.

Great training! I felt very welcomed in it, my voice was heard, my needs were addressed and I experienced plenty of "aha" moments. I know that being in this class made me already a better facilitator (the training and our discussions gave me better understanding of a good facilitator as a role, and how to work on my skills next). When it comes to the trainer (Ryan Brook) - Ryan is a very professional, well-prepared both when it comes to logistics and content perspectives, was open to our questions and what was important for me: he is a very positive guy.

Ryan knows how to make a content-heavy programme feel light and breezy. By providing meaningful examples and keeping the structure clear at all times, he ensured that each participant could have a high ROI on their time.

Plus he has a great playlist during breaks!

I attended the two day PSPO I class, lead by Ryan. On the teaching style firstly, Ryan is a calm and collected instructor, able to deliver learning effectively and answer questions from the class easily whilst giving real life examples. Absolutely awesome!

It was a brilliant dive into product ownership, explaining the details and delivering new tools and techniques to try out!

I would thoroughly recommend! The 100% on the assessment speaks for itself!

I've just completed a brilliant class led by Ryan and supported by Sanjay. It was very engaging, entertaining and informative. I now feel prepared for the assessment and know where to look for future support, refresher training and guidance. Excellent delivery with no PowerPoint at all and a good balance of guided instruction and group work. I would recommend the course and instructors.

Unexpectedly entertaining and engaging, superb two day course on an introduction to Scrum. Forget PowerPoint presentations, Ryan does it his way and IT works!

really engaging trainer, with great examples to bring the learning to life

The trainers approach and delivery was spot on and extremely enjoyable.
He is engaging, has real life experience with which to underpin examples.
He made the course light, fun at points and motivational with some character role play.
I would highly recommend this trainer and this course.
