I'm the founder of Uclips LLC. When we were just starting off with less than 2k in sales per month they managed to lock us into a 6 month contract paying them roughly 1.5k to 2k per month. It was so bad we had to tell them to pause the in the middle so we could get enough cash to pay them. I ended up taking a loan to pay them, it was ridiculous. They promised results and looking back there was no way at our prototype / pre-order phase in 2022 that it was going to happen. I haven't said anything, but I heard 3 other companies got ripped off so it's time it stopped. They can't take advantage of young founders anymore.

We are a UK/US wearable tech startup that signed a seven-month contract with OPTYO in June 2024, expecting "professional and diligent" brand development, marketing, and website services. Instead, we got a disaster.

🔴 Broken website with missing content
🔴 Repeated use of an outdated logo despite clear instructions
🔴 Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, broken links
🔴 Mismatched fonts, colors, and images—zero brand consistency
🔴 Badly cropped videos and images
🔴 Section headings that didn’t match content
🔴 Failure to run the email campaigns they were contracted to manage

We documented everything—screenshots, email exchanges, and repeated complaints. Their response - spend more on ads these things take time.

They eventually apologized and admitted fault, but by then, the damage was done.

💰 $10,000 in retainer fees + $10,000 in ad spend = $20,000 burned
📉 Sales? $2,000 total.

🔥 Working with OPTYO was a total money pit.
