Great service - price not bad either
Ok, made the switch today on broadband, having taken a leap of faith as Iâm hopeless setting up tech.
I was with Virgin Media on a volt 125 speed/contract which was pretty dire, but due to health I need reliable wireless which isnât always cheap/good.
Was paying around £37 a month, way more than it should be, but I was out of contract and facing another £7+ being extorted in April gave me the courage to leave.
For me, being a nerd, service is top for me over price, if I have a problem, I want someone to talk to, not press this/that/whatever and then hold forever for a person I canât understand.
So I jumped and landed at Orbus and although I donât need mega fast broadband, you cant ever have too much and hope that boosts the signal throughout the home.
Sent an email to Orbus saying Iâm disabled and need reliable wireless etc and enquired about extenders to boost just in case, (Iâm a safety girl)
Spoke to Andrea - wow the actual boss - and she put my mind at rest, even her mobile/email just in case. She let me buy the 2 extenders direct instead of via Amazon so saved some cash too.
Today came the install via Openreach, so easy, so small compared to the virgin equipment, and the speed, just WOW, nice tidy job too.
Early days, but the download speed earlier was 858.6 mbps and upload 105.5 which is Yeah that works ð
Iâm told the renewal price will be the same as any other new or existing customer, and that customer service is a thing for them.
