This company is a SCAM!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!! I purchased from a company that I believed made Canadian products as it clearly advertises "Made in Canada" but the shoes I ordered were made in China. Not only is the quality inferior but they sent me shoes 2 sizes bigger than what I ordered. Their return policy stated that I can return the product if I wasn't 100% satisfied and I would be responsible for return charges. Since their address was in Canada I expected that I would pay postage for Canada however they said I would have to return the product to China and rather than returning the product because the cost would be very high, they offered me 10% refund. What a joke! How are these companies allowed to do business in our country? Now I'm stuck with unusable product and I'm out the money I paid.

This Company claims everything is made in Canada. It’s shipped from China. So in ordering large which should have fit me perfectly they are so very small. Spent almost $100 CAD and they will not even answer my email. Buyer Beware

I ordered shoes. They took a long time to arrive. They were my size but were sized too small. I contacted the company to do an exchange or return. They would not provide me with an address to do so. I disputed the charge with my credit card. The card company reversed the charges. Ottawa Mode disputed that and revealed to the card company that they have a no return policy/no cancellations. My credit card company then reissued the charge to me. This is unacceptable, that my card company is allowing this scam to continue.

I wanted to shop Canadian. What a disappointment. Product was too small, ugly colour. Have to pay my own shipping back to China (!) to return it, so I ask about exchange instead and don't ever hear from them again.

I received my order yesterday after two months. It was not satisfactory. Two sizes too small and I ordered large to make sure it would fit and certainly not the quality I would expect for the money.
My mistake was not to read the reviews online which is , I suspect how you get your customers. I will be writing a review and will give your company a 1 star rating.
From what I read it’s nearly impossible to get a return done so I will write this one off as being my fault for being duped and will certainly never buy from you again!!!

This company's website claims they are based in Ottawa. However, all of their dealings happen in China.
I bought a couple of tank tops using their size guide to choose the size. When they finally arrived, they were far too small.
It took numerous emails and even getting PayPal involved, in order to get a response.
I'm being told to send them back to them, in China, at MY expense. Or they'll give me 10% back and I can keep the useless tops.
I asked for their Canadian address but they claim it must be returned to their "international" warehouse. What a load of bollix.
Do not buy anything from this company. They're a scam.

Don't - ordered Jan 04, received 2 pairs same colour. Asked for the other colour I had purchased. Was told to send picture as proof that I had received 2 same colour. Was told by Customer Service I would have to send to distribution center abroad, and shipping is my responsibility. I was told I could keep and receive 10% refund as goodwill gesture without needing to return anything. I sent a reply that I want the boots I had paid for and their responsibility I had received the incorrect item. this was sent Mar 11, followup email from me Mar 19, and again today Mar 26

Took way too long for order to be delivered. VERY poor quality! Stitching is either puckered or not in straight line. Length was accurate but that doesn’t make up for the fact that it is very thin material

First of all, their ad is totally misleading. They make you believe this is an Ottawa-based company, but it is NOT Canadian. It is based out of Texas. Secondly, delivery dates are slow, not unexpected once you finally find out they're not based in Canada. Third, the product is cheaply made (made in China) and nowhere near the quality portrayed in the pictures or descriptions. Save your money. Buy from a physical store where you can see, touch, try on, and KNOW what you're paying for.

I ordered a pair of snowboots from this Company and when they came there were two pair. They had charged me for the second pair along with the first pair. They wouldn't answer the phone. Any email I sent they told me they would get back to me in 48 hours. They never did. When I told them I had contacted the Better Business Bureau they emailed me and told me that I would have to pay to return them, including the one that I didn't order. They are located in Texas, has nothing to do with Ottawa. Very missleading. This company is not reputable. It took over a month to receive the boots.

Ordered from this company thinking I was supporting Canadian business. No issues at first but things quickly went downhill. When my order arrived, the sizes were all completely wrong, both footwear and jackets. Definitely not North American sizing. The quality of the material and construction left a lot to be desired. They also sent a bunch of "free" items I didn't want and couldn't decline. I reached out right away to return the whole order. It took days for them to reply and then they wanted photos of everything as well as the labels from the original packaging. I provided what they asked for, followed up twice and it took almost two weeks for them to reply. When I finally heard back they told me they'd take it all back BUT I'd have to mail it back, at my cost, to their "international shipping center". They assured me this would be very expensive and offered a 10% refund instead. Basically $30 back from a $300 order for two pairs of boots and two jackets. I told them to bite me. It is disgusting that they pretend to be Canadian, have awful customer service and make returns virtually impossible. Companies like this should be shut down. Absolutely disgraceful. DO NOT ORDER from these scammers

They are cheaters. Quality of there products is very poor. Seems like products are made out of canada. And will never refund if you are unhappy. I regert buying from the.. never ever

I purchased from Ottawa Mode but I clearly should’ve read the reviews before I did. The items they sent me were of the poorest quality I’ve ever seen. The two jackets that I ordered were not even in the size I ordered them in. I have been contacting the company since I received the items after Christmas to return them and yes, I sent them clear photographs as they requested and then they messaged me back that they would give me 10% of what I purchased the items for. They said it would cost me more in mailing fees to return them. I told them I would still be returning them because I would not be accepting their 10% after them sending me stuff I didn’t even order and what I called junk. I had emailed them several times and they still have not sent me my return label. I wish I had of read the reviews on it to begin with. quite frankly I wouldn’t even have given them one star but I couldn’t see how to give them none.

I received a pair of boots that were nothing along the lines of what I ordered!
Cheaply made, bright orange soles and I couldn’t get my foot into one.
I have sent three requests for a full refund and in return I was offered twice a ridiculous percentage of the total cost each time.
I requested again, a full refund, and now they are ghosting me.
They should be banned from using social media to rip off consumers.

Could not get my foot into the boot. When I tried to return them- I got a run around, then I got ghosted.

I liked what I saw on the website and after placing an order I realized that this was not a good decision. Product I ordered was 22/days late arriving. I kept sending e-mails regarding delivery and not one was replied to. After delivery I found that the shoes did not fit and tried to send them back and they won’t reply with instructions. I have been trying for a month and no response. I wish that I had read the reviews before I dealt with this outfit.DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!!!!!!!

Wish I had looked here before ordering. Their ad promised a 60-day return. That is rather useless when they don’t answer my emails about where and how to return these ill-fitting flimsy boots. They are very lightweight and unlikely to last long even if they did fit which they do not. They are too tight and narrow despite my ordering a size bigger than my usual. Delivery was much later than promised. Most frustrating is the lack of response to my emails. Their website site does not provide a phone number or an address. Never order from this company. I’ve learned a valuable lesson about ordering from a Facebook ad: Don’t!

The boots are terrible quality! They are uncomfortable. I wanted to return but you have to pay the shipping costs. These boots are not worth $20 never mind the $75 they are charging. Terrible Chinese company to deal with.

Sizing was wrong . poor quality of boots. Requested to return and they offered a 20% refund , to save the shipping charges to China. I had received a welcome email stating that " we are small company located in Ottawa!
However no return address was offered and they counter offered with 30%. Refund. I declined waiting to see what the next offer will be.
Buyer beware

I wish that you could rate as minus numbers. This company is the worst. I went to the post office to get a rough idea how much it would cost to return a coat and boots, which have to be returned to CHINA!, and she laughed and said that I was not returning it. It would cost between $70 and $100. She was right….I will not pay that price. Total scam and then they ghost you. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!
