I would like to give very good feedback to Otto because of one employee whose name is Reuben. When I picked up my car he made my initial journey very smooth and professional. He explained me everything. And when I returned my car he was the one who made me to finish process in less then 10 min. He has shown real passion as a great employee where all customers expected. When I collected my car he was at Streatham and when I drop my car he was at Shepherd’s Bush. Please pass my thanks to him as he was wonderful assistant from Otto company.

I am extremely disappointed with how…
I am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled.
I entered into a rent-to-buy agreement in good faith and, unfortunately, became involved in a non-fault accident. Despite being the innocent party, I was and still am being treated as though I am somehow to blame for the situation.
What has been most frustrating is the complete lack of support regarding loss of earnings. The vehicle was collected without a replacement being provided, leaving me unable to continue working as normal. I even suggested a sensible solution by offering to enter into a new agreement for another vehicle, but this was declined without any meaningful attempt to help.
To make matters worse, I then had to challenge invoice charges that I did not believe were justified, only to be threatened with having a vehicle clamped despite the fact that I no longer even had the vehicle in my possession. This felt unreasonable and unnecessarily aggressive.
I waited patiently for over a week in the hope that a fair resolution could be reached, but unfortunately that has not happened. This review is therefore my last resort.
The biggest disappointment is that the company started out so well, and my initial experience was positive. Sadly, when a genuine problem arose and support was needed most, the level of customer service fell far below expectations.
I would strongly advise anyone considering a rent-to-buy agreement to carefully check what support is available if you are involved in a non-fault accident, as the reality may not be what you expect.

The manager has told his staff to hang up on me. I'm going into their office on Thursday. I'll have to camera men with me so these guys can't lie their way out of it. Just to be clear — I will get going in peace, just to collect my items whilst receiving answers and an explanation
The manager of the Manchester branch told me on 08/05/2026 that his bosses had instructed them all to not respond to me at any point. So — they refuse to acknowledge my complaint, whilst also refusing to issue a letter of deadlock. It all looks dodgy to me. He has also promised to find out about my missing items, before terminating the call.
I left a review talking about how Otto Car dangerously disconnected my vehicle whilst I was driving it, then refused to give me an explanation or an apology. This could have been bad if I was travelling at speed.
I also talked about the fact that I stupidly left two (expensive) hoodies in the car, alongside a few bits, plus an unopened birthday card from last August. Randomly a few months ago they sent just one of my hoodies, and the birthday card minus its envelope and the £50 that was inside.
The update is: INSTEAD OF CONTACTING ME AND SORTING THIS ISSUE OUT, THEY ACCUSED ME OF DEFAMATORY COMMENTS, AND ASKED TRUSTPILOT TO TAKE MY ORIGINAL REVIEW DOWN.
I HAVE FORWARDED MY COMPLAINT MANY TIMES. I HAVE A RECORDING OF THE COMPLAINTS HANDLER ADMITTING HE'S RECEIVED MY COMPLAINT. THEY STILL WILL NOT ACCEPT OR LOOK INTO MY COMPLAINT, THOUGH. I HAVE REQUESTED A LETTER OF DEADLOCK MULTIPLE TIMES, THEY ALSO REFUSE THIS.
OTTO CAR, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR.
YOU NEED TO RETURN MY ITEMS AND ACKNOWLEDGE MY COMPLAINT IMMEDIATELY!!

I went to get my replacement car today…
I went to get my replacement car today and i had a wouderful time with Mr james he's lovely guy thanks. Jamil was also great. It is nearly 6pm and they finish at 530. A guy callef Ali Abbass also stayed late to sort my documents. This is why otto are the best. Segun Andrew . I was with otto and now i am back. Thank you. You are my family

Company have not pay back the extra…
Company have not pay back the extra payment, they took out of my account and and my deposit of £250 which the said was refundable, the have not responded to my emails, in regards to the situation. The company is an absolute sham avoid at all cost. Even if if cost me more financially, I will ensure that these sorts of practise are not allowed to fester in the private hire industry, when company such as Otto cars think that they can do what they like with no ramifications.
