quality service
Due to personal circumstances I had to return the electric bike that I bought. The bike i bought a
Biocycle City Speed 20" was extremely well made assembled with good quality components I had no complaints with the machine. What was very good was the was that i was dealt with. All emails were replied to within 24 hrs, all promises re times were kept and the refund came on the day promised. I could not have had better treatment A Thompson
Wrong item received but correct one en route!
I ordered a ride-on pedal tractor for my children. A different tractor to the one I ordered was delivered, but unfortunately my husband accepted the delivery and built the tractor not realising it was a different style. We decided to keep the tractor as it was built, but then discovered it was pretty much unusable as the connector part for a trailer kept hitting the ground when my kids were using it, causing the tractor to stop. I ended up contacting the customer service team and in no time at all they had arranged to send the original style of tractor I ordered and did not expect me to return the tractor we initially received. I am delighted with the speedy and effective customer service provided. I'm confident the new tractor will be a hit with my kids 👍

Warning - very unhelpful company
Warning! Do not buy from this company if you ever want to replace a part. Their children's bikes are not compatible with ANY stabiliser you can buy from any shop - I now have a bike for my daughter that I cannot use.

Outstanding support from the 1st call…
Outstanding support from the 1st call to prompt and on time delivery, guidance to select the best e-bike was superb, taking quality time to understand my needs, budget and advising the very best e-bike. Advised delivery, within 10 days and arrived in time, very well packaged and ready assembled, literally removed the packaging, charged overnight and rode the next day.
Super customer service, attentive and 200% customer commitment, thank you Gareth, Davy and the team.

I can’t rate the customer service of this company highly enough. The new ebike I bought arrived promptly, ready assembled and ready to go. It’s the 4th ebike I’ve had over many years and it’s fair to say this Basis Beacon is easily my best bike so far.
Excellent customer service
I bought a low step batribike from ebikes for my wife who suffers from arthritis. Unfortunately it was too powerful for her due to the cadence. After speaking to Darren, he suggested the Wisper 806 Torque. We went to the workshop directly and tried the bike out which was just fantastic. eBikes can't do enough for you. Very professional and take the time listening to you. Thank you
This review is for the customer service…
This review is for the customer service not so much the actual bike. I placed and order for a bike for my 3 year old daughter (frozen 2 bike) it arrived within 2 working days which I though was quick. On putting the bike together the bike had slight paint chips on handle bars and the doll carrier was all cracked. I took photos and emailed customer service immediately (8pm that evening). In less than 24 hours I had an email from customer service with an apology and the chance to have the bike collected and returned with a new one in its place or £10 refund for the chipped paint and a new doll carrier sent out. I chose the second option of new carrier and £10 refund as I didn’t want to wait for collection and a new bike with it being for Easter I wanted to make sure I had it in time. I think for the small amount of damage most likely done in transit as box had a little damage this was a quick and fair response and was very happy with the customer service I received.
The lost Bike, by e-bikes direct
On Sunday 14th of February I had found my perfect bike. I placed my order and waited for it to be delivered, and waited, and waited. I tried to contact
e-bikes direct by phone, but only got an answer service.
24 emails occurred between e-bikes direct and myself. Firstly they had no boxes to send my bike out and told me that they would have them soon. After two weeks bingo they had boxes and my bike was on its way. Week had gone by and no sign of it.
I emailed e-bikes direct and they apologised. I was sent a second bike because the first had got lost between the depo of e-bikes direct and DX couriers in Maidstone. So a new tracking number had been issued and DX in Maidstone had received my bike according to the tracking number. I stayed in the following day as I was so looking forward to my new bike.
4pm that same day I phoned DX the courier to see where my bike was. Their reply to me was that they do a daily report for e-bikes direct and it was sent back to them. So after eventually speaking to a representative from e-bikes direct he assured me that the bike would be found. He also said that they would look through the security cameras of DX. Funny enough no bikes were found to my great disappointment.
I received an email to tell me as
e-bikes direct couldn’t be bothered to phone me themselves to tell me the news.
A refund has been given but I’m still without that perfect bike that I have been searching for.
So so disappointed with the way
e-bikes direct have handled my order.👎 Stuart.
Brilliant After Sales Service 100% the best
I recently had a problem with my e bike battery , and thought the distance to return would be a problem ( I’m in North East Scotland) however nothing was a problem and after initial advice on problem solving by Josh did not work ( no fault on his part ) it was over to Darren who put my mind at rest about return and arranged a quick and efficient collection ( I had recycled my initial packing from last year so the charge of £17.99 for box / packing was ok with me )
collection to return was very fast considering the distance and I was able to use my bike ( which only needed a quick fix )
A week after
Any questions I had before and during was answered in a very friendly and helpful manner by both Darren & Josh
And I would recommend E Bike Direct to anyone
And I am already looking forward to the time I am ready to upgrade

A super company. I contacted Davey about a part that had failed and without any arguement or fuss he posted a replacement part to me. It was wonderful how he responded and how courteous and decently I was treated. It's not unusual to have to argue with some companies to get justice but I can only praise the response and thank Davey and the company for treating me so well. 5 stars 👍👍👍
