I've worked with a number of freelance websites and I've had the best results with Outsource.com. The level of quality of leads and work on the site is much better, and I've been hired a number of times by great clients since joining. The clients I've worked with have been professional, dependable, and communicative. The site is user-friendly and the support team is great.

The subscription payments don't bother me because I know that keeps the freelancers on the site more selective (professional) and I can keep the full amount that I earn. I've recommended it to a few friends as a great resource.

Outsource is easy to use in regards to finding assistance, communication, and payment. Freelancers list bids and ratings are posted to make decisions easy.

I signed up and bought plan-20 credits a month. The only option is to pay upfront for 6 months with no guarantee.
Projects descriptions are very similar and suspiciously short, almost like written by the same person. Budgets are extremely low.
After a few bids I realized that it big waste of money. I asked for refund and they refused.
Freelancers should stay away from this company. It is a scam.

I posted my ad for a logo designer, and within a day I had more than a dozen responses . . . qualified responses. The designer I selected was talented, creative, reasonably priced, and FAST!

A simple and economical way to contract with talented professionals.

The process was efficient and we got good work. The only problem was how slow the Outsource server is.

Outsource charges you lots of credits to apply for jobs. They take a whole bunch of quotes from a lot of different artists but only one artist gets the job while they are cashing in on unsuspecting starving artists all vying for one job. They only guarantee that you will get one job for six months. They Charged me $101 for the guarantee of one job. And then the only thing they do is give you six m more months of their stupid service.

THEY ORIGINALLY REFUSED TO REFUND the remaining months after I figured it out what was happening. When I posted my original post of one star they called me up immediately and offered me a refund for the remaining unused 5 months. They said this was against their policy but they were going to work with me.

You will note all the glowing reports are for people who hire the artists. The ones who don't give enough adequate information for an artist to give fair quotes. The ones just looking for the lowest price but not willing to give you specifics of time involvement and expectations in order for you to determine if the venture is worth your time. Quotes request are generally one sentence to one short paragraph.

The artists are not providing glowing reports.
I still wouldn't recommend their services.

I found a great illustrator who really worked with me. She walked me right through the whole process.

Posted my request. Received multiple offers with in an hour. Selected the job recipient. Had my requested fulfilled with a talented individual, in a very timely manor.

I WILL use Outsource again in the future, and recommend to my friends and clients!
