Very pleased with the designer I found through outsource.

The Subscription cost is too much. And then it is not a guarantee that you will get the job.

Use commission based charges such that freelancers are sure to only pay when they get the work

My app is a fairly simple one as apps go, but is very useful. I listed on Outsourse, got several bids, took one of the higher ones because I got a good impression of the developer. He was great to work with from beginning to end. We are now working on the Android version. I thank Outsourse for making this platform available to be able to locate talented people for this type of project.

I used this service to have a graphic made for my company. As advertised, it was an affordable way to find quality work, quick and easy. Will definitely use this service again for whatever needs come up.

Outsource is the place of many scam and many project are not funded or clients are not commited but are just "touching the water" On the other side freelancers have to pay expensive credits to send a quote to these fake projects.

Pleasant way to link with a freelancer to help your project.

Technical support people are responsive.

Outsource.com is an excellent place to pick up new projects and to get engaged with new clients. I have been very happy with the quality of clients I have found on the site and have formed many partnerships with clients obtained by submitting proposals via outsource.com.

I am extremely satisfied with the quality of customer care and the high level of communication and the speed at which responses are delivered to me by outsource.com staff.

I've been a user of Outsource.com for a while and am very pleased so far. I've managed to book a number of jobs through the website and feel like it's a much better site than other freelance websites that I have used in the past. The cost of the subscription doesn't bother me because I was able to make that money back very quickly and Outsource doesn't take any % out of what I make.

Support team is very helpful with getting things setup and tips about getting results.

I like Outsource as a platform and it's overall ease of use.

A few things:
• The job poster does not have enough guidance
• The freelance talent pays too much to bid

The experience from both ends could be better if the job poster was given some tips on what to expect and to know how to ask for what they want.

The freelancer pays too much up front to respond to requests that are not necessarily realistic.

I could spend $25 bidding and never get a response. LOST MONEY.

Manage expectations on both ends. Help the job poster and be the freelancer's friend. We all need help and communication. Too much is left to chance.

Business model. You could take 12-15% off the final pay and not ask the freelancers to pay to bid.

Your credits are ridiculously expensive. The way to set up & accept a job, and receiving payment is cumbersome and a pain in the you know what.

Glassdoor has a review on Outsource.com, too and the reviews there are all negative. Why are they all positive here?

The fine type in the FAQs explains that the number of credits to apply for a job varies from 3 to 9, but when you’re signing up as a freelancer, that is not clearly stated. The impression is that buying 30 credits for $137.00 gives the new member the ability to apply for 30 REAL jobs. There’s no explanation as to how they value the job, but it looks like the higher the budget the more credits are required to apply. Then they "guarantee" your application will be seen and opened by the hiring party and if not, the credit(s) will be refunded back to your account.

Needless to say, all six of my applications were opened, magically, within one hour of posting them to the respective jobs. They send you an email with a little blue envelope announcing that the hiring person has "opened" your proposal. That’s not proof. That's just a robo-email.

My website is hyperlinked and prominently displayed at the top of my proposal and resume but not a single one of these employers who supposedly opened my proposal clicked on the link to my website. I have a website stats program and would have seen them hit my site. I've been freelancing since 1999 and I know the ratios for this process. Out of six applications at least two would have clicked on the link. And not even one of them responded to my application.

Outsource.com is a total scam. I paid through PayPal and have initiated a dispute to get a refund, which I received a few days ago. If Outsource is legit, why didn't they contest my refund?

I had a transcription job that required a fast turn-around. Within an hour, I received almost 10 personally messaged inquiries from experienced freelancers.

The person I chose was professional, courteous and finished the job AHEAD of schedule.

I will definitely use Outsource.com again!

I used outsource for a book cover illustration. I was unsure about hiring someone online. The freelancer i hired ended up being not only excellent with her work but made it easy throughout the entire steps of the project. I will defintely use outsource again in the future.

I really like that I found a good person to work with through Outsource.com. The only thing that gets to be quite frustrating is how slow the website is. Other than that: it's great!

I am quite happy with my first experience with Outsource. The site is well organized, it was easy to post a job, and Outsource seems to be well populated with experts that rushed to offer their services, all seemingly qualified and many overqualified!
The experience was very smooth- I selected the expert to do the job, and it all proceeded without a hitch. I especially liked the procedure set up by which the buyer posts the payment, but payment is held "in escrow" by Outsource until I am satisfied with the work.
All excellent! If there was something that I thought detracted from my experience, is what in my opinion is an error in the design of the payment. Outsource requires you authorize in advance future payments, which I think is wrong since it doesn't apply to a one-off job paid in full at once. Outsource should only require advance authorization on jobs that are likely to include multiple payments.
Other than that, Kudos!

This was my first time using Outsource & ran into a problem as to procedure. Sent an email to support who promptly responded and solved my problem. Also was impressed with the quality of the vendor that I hired.

I have used a variety of freelancer sites and far and away prefer Outsource.com and am very impressed with this sites's level of customer service.

Outsource.com truly values it's freelancers and employers and is quick to address any issue with the best of both in mind.
I can not say the same is true with the site's principal competition.

I whole-heartedly recommend this site to others.
