Having given a token donation to find out what the gift recipient’s experience would be for a larger donation, we found a pleasant enough (if underwhelming) e-card. Oxfam is honest compared to some charities about the donation being used for general purposes, which we liked. It does not claim that specific bars of soap or specific goats will be given to specific people in a particular village — as some lesser charities pitch. I have not seen the hardcopy cards they offer, though a big hit as a humorous talking-point one Christmas was refrigerator magnet cards (with a goat or a donkey on them, from another British charity).

Good information on the website, website easy to use.

Oxfam is a wonderful organization, but their website, as beautiful as it is, needs to be improved. I had two frustrations with it. First, I reside overseas but wanted to donate to Oxfam as a honor gift for my father who lives in the US. I had a difficult time getting to the US site. In the end I had to go back to an email from 2019 Christmas and use a link in that e-mail. It was frustrating. Most organizations with international offices give you a choice on the homepage as to which country you want to connect to. Oxfam doesn't do this. Second, it would be nice if I could immediately choose "Donate in Honor Of" or "Donate In Memory Of" before filling in my personal details so that I could immediately know I'm in the right place and not wasting time.

It was very easy to select the gift we wanted to donate for our daughters.

The receipt and a printable card was send via e-mail, so we can send it to them to let them know about our gift for them.

Great organization with long history of getting the most from donor dollars.

I am so excited to give our grand daughters a flock of chickens, a goat, a sheep and duck for Christmas! It will be left in a bag on their porch. It was so easy to visit your website and order my zoo. I got a little tripped up on the pdf card but figured it out after your office responded. I now have 4 cards printed and ready to be wrapped. The joy I have from visiting your website is a gift to myself...the Joy of Giving.

You failed to acknowledge my purchase of a second goat!

Oxfam not only gives items to people, it provides training, followup, etc. IT IS THE BEST PROVIDER OF AID that I have ever seen. More of your donation dollars go to actually help instead of to infrastructure needs.

I love all the options that Oxfam provides, and how easy it is to send a gift. These gifts are always very well-received!

Wonderful site with an even more wonderful goal. I was unable to figure out if cards were available. Really saw no reason for one but was confusing.

When donated to Oxford, I wasn't expecting some sleazy bank to profit from my donation in $ 13 and change. Shame on me.

I was going to make up a collection of Oxfam Gifts to "buy" this year -- like the one-family emergency kit, school supplies, blankets, mosquito nets... But then I got word that someone was matching gifts of GOATS! So I bought a pair of goats. I sent the gift-card to my husband and wrote "Aren't you glad they won't be living here?!!"

I appreciate that OxFam does their marketing by e-mail and on FaceBook, not flooding the physical mailbox like some charities do.

I was so happy, being poor myself, to be able to donate two goats instead of just one for the same price! Hopefully that is happening!

Oxfam's work is so important. I have supported them, when I could, for at least 30 years. It was great that I could buy goats and know the 3 goats I bought were doubled to 6! Yippee.
