Paperlike 2 - The worst screen protector; Paperlike Nibs - 18 h halflife
I used paperlike screen protector and the installation was a nightmare. The alignment stickers system was… terrible. I have no idea why they don’t do alignment trays - after twice applying paperlike’s protector i was prepared to the worst when trying another brand’s protector and was very pleasantly surprised by the fact that it took literally a fraction of time and gave me 0 (zero) bubbles.
Stay away from paperlike 2.
The second thing about this protectors: it got scratched by apple pencil within a week. Or rather 3 days. After some time there were weird bald spots on my screen where the paperlike worn through. My ipad has a case and never left home. I also have a wrist injury that caused me to be extremely lighthanded. So even though i draw a lot the pressure i’m applying on my screen is literally. I went through 2 protectors in 5 weeks. And most of the time i was constantly annoyed by all scratches and bald patches. I’m still annoyed by the fact that i paid money for that experience. I never had such a terrible experience even with cheaper foils, their texture was just gradually smoothing in the middle of the screen, but this extra slippery patches… brrr, very unpleasant.
Now, i know they released version 3 and it has different application process (but still no tray) and i agree that their paper texture is amazing (for the first 3 days) and the screen clarity preservation is probably the best i’ve tried but i don’t think i want to risk getting this terrible experience again.
Another product i have (i really wanted to give them a chance) are paperfeel tips. I have a matte tempered glass installed on my screen (esr if it matters). And i know, the increased wear, blah blah. But paperlike claims to be 10 times tougher than the original one. 3 days. And i have a very visibly sanded off pencil tip. They feel harder indeed, but i give this tip a week. Again, i’m quite light handed. I might be pressing harder to compensate for the added resistance (which feels nice btw i give them that). However due to my injury i’d know if i was pressing much harder. Maybe it will work better with another protector or it would be better for an Apple Pencil without double tap feature - then people might rotate their pencil and not favouring a certain side of the tip… I don’t know, that’s just sad.

Great screen protector for someone who generally dislikes screen protectors and digital writing!
I hate screenprotectors in general but my husband recently gifted me an iPad and I want to take care of it! After a lot of research (on instagram and Reddit) I decided on the paperlike protector. Im no longer using Amazon so I was happy to see that the company’s website offers fast shipping and a free digital journal book. Shipping was fast and installation was super easy, even fun to press all the bubbles out. Very excited to use it!

Bezahlt und nicht bekommen
Eigentlich war die Freude über eine Paperfolie, die wahrscheinlich Blasenfrei aus iPad kommt groß. Schließlich habe ich genug andere Folien (die auch günstiger waren) verbraucht. Es waren immer wieder Staub und Blasen mit dabei.
Nun gut die Paperlike Folie sollte es richten, kam aber nie an, trotzdem sie über Klarna bezahlt ist.
Ich habe nun den Aufwand das finanzielle mit Klarna zu regeln.
Dann lieber Staub und Blasen bei gelieferten Günstigfolien.
