Well, i really wished id checked out Trust Pilot before handing over almost £300 for a Polta Pod...

I thought it was odd that on all his Social Media accounts there is no option for you to leave comments.. Now I know why... also, that a reputable business (joke!) Has a Hotmail email address..

DO NOT BUY !!

The Polta Pod arrived after a lengthy delay.. I do not know why shipping took so long as he stopped responding to emails.. Poorly packaged, the item itself poorly made and it did not work.

To begin with, he was quite helpful.. But a non refundable policy which personally is shocking considering the item didnt even work !! Offered us a replacement at a reduced price but expected us to pay £75 for shipping.. When we asked if we could see a video of the replacement working before we committed to buying, he stopped answering our emails and became quite rude.

We'd heard that he owed people alot of money.. but then a year or so later popped back up with all these wonderful products, which to be fair they are and we gave it all the benefit of the doubt.. But as for the service, absolutely diabolical.. and we are now without a working product and no chance of getting our money back..

Reading all the other comments, we are quite lucky to have only lost £300.. Genuinely sorry to everyone who has also experienced exactly the same service as us.. How someone can trade this way is totally beyond me !

We were told we could return it for repair but at our own cost.. Glad we didnt do that..

Our only chance is to find someone in the UK that can repair it for us.. Would be a good business ! So, if anyone knows of anyone, please let me know !!

If you know whats good for you, please please please avoid. Honestly, its not worth the hassle, the stress and the grief this has caused

Zero stars from me and a massive middle finger.

I have wanted a Polterpod for a few years now, but had sort of given up, as the Paranologies website was always listing the as Sold Out.
I saw that they were back in production and bought one. It took probably around 6 weeks to arrive in the UK, but some of that included delays due to bad weather in the US (I was watching the tracking with USPS).

The box is visually stunning. Most paranormal device makers just 3D print something small and cheap, but there is a lot of detail in this. Considering this is also a very rare box that is used on Ghost Adventures, it is good that the price is remarkably cheap too (when you look at other stuff such as DR60s, Ovilus, GeoPorts etc, they can cost $$$).

The device is an anologue sweep radio, so it doesnt have that annoying "CHHHH CHHHHH CHHHHH CHHHH" noise that most spirit boxes have.

I kept in regular contact with the owner and despite the negative reviews in the past, I genuinely felt that there have been situations beyond his control, and I felt sorry that his name/company have been trashed by some people.

These devices are genuine, he does build them and ship them internationally too.

I would give no stars if I could.

I placed an order in October 2021 that I still have not received. I found out in mid 2023 that they had closed down, for apparently 6 months in 2020 (why did they take my order) and that they were now closing for good, all this was from a Facebook post. I sent the order number and a copy of their email with the order details back to them and asked for a refund. To this day despite numerous emails, paypal invoices and text messages I am still out of pocket with no product. When you read their webpage it states that all valid refunds have been processed. WHAT A SCAM

Scammer stoled over 2000 dollars of my hard earned money . Been several years now since I made the order, will not answer me or nothing.

Still waiting on a refund from a pico I ordered in 2019! After communicating with jeromy over the last few years, the moment he promised refunds to anyone waiting on product he completely ghosted me. I haven't heard from him at all to let me know what's going on, after multiple emails sent! It's clear he has no intention of refunding me or giving me my product! He is a thief and a liar

Jeromy Jones instructed me to send a device back to him for repairs back on 11/20/2020. I did. After several emails to him, I still haven't received the device back or a refund from him. I have the receipts from my original purchase and the tracking number that shows he received the Irem that I sent back to him for repairs. I sent him a cash app request for the refund and he denied it. Jeromy Jones is nothing more than a scam artist.

In November 2021 I ordered a RE-VP, I never received it. I wrote about 10 emails but never got an answer. Now it's about a refund, but now after 3 emails again still no answer. just sad

Ordered two items November 2020, and still have not received my items, let alone an email from him. I have emailed him once a month for the last 5 months, in the manner and format he directs people to, and he had NEVER replied. I keep checking his website, and it appears to be one excuse after another, now it's a medical emergency keeping him from building, he is also out of parts so he cannot build anything right now. I have filed a fraud claim with the FBI, since his only retort to these reviews is that they are not a law enforcement agency and are bogus and can't do anything. He then berates his customers for not following his specific directions. I have followed his directions, and have never heard from him. Time for the FBI to get involved for fraud.

Jeromy Jones is a con artist! Horrible communication, he is a narcissist and a sociopath. He will not give you your product that you bought and he will never communicate with you. Do not buy from him.

I ordered from this company a while ago, still didn't receive my item. Emailed them several times with no response! I contacted BBB and still no reply from either! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FAKE COMPANY! I'm out $150.00!

We have ordered a pico in dec 2019 and I am still waiting on the product, he even had me pay extra for shipping to Canada and took the money and no response, only come up with different excuses every month as to why he hasn't shipped any product , one time it was built and just need to be sent out , month later he can't get parts , there is no end to the lie with this guy, and I see now he's taking orders after he said he wouldn't till all previous orders were filled , and yet still waiting

It has been almost a year since I purchased products from Paranologies.com and nothing has happened. The owner does not respond to emails so it is impossible to get any answers. He has set up a one way communication blog where he comes up with excuses and dictates what you should do next. Even after following his guidelines he still does not respond or provide what he promises in the blog. He also contradicts his own statements. First he agrees to provide refunds and then he states that he doesn't and just comes up with extra procedures for customers to keep following. This business is a scam should be sued and shut down for good.

Do not purchase anything from Paranologies - Ghost Hunting Equipment I purchased an electrascope it was broken and instead of them replacing it it looks like I am meeting with my lawyer on Friday and it will be a legal battle over $49.99. He doesn't care about his customers. His disclaimer is typed out to screw you no matter what happens. I just wanted my item replaced, I did not want a refund. Very poor service, the company thinks BBB complaints are a joke. They think they can do anything they want and nothing will "hurt". Just read the BBB complaints, wish I had before I ordered. I loved the gear he makes but when you as a customer are treated like dirt it really shows Paranologies true colors. Do not purchase anything from this place.

Waited 6 months for an order which never came.
Received aggressive & bullying email replies from the company owner Jeremy as well as lists of excuses.
Told I couldn’t have a refund coz he’d spent the money & has some electronic contract over me.
They never got in touch with me & I always had to email them to find out what was going on.
I have spoken to paranormal groups in the UK & USA & this company has a very poor reputation.
If you have a paranormal TV show paranologies will give you your order within a week, if you’re ‘Joe Public’ you’ll wait 6 months for nothing like me & 20 others I’ve spoken with so far.
Don’t let this Jeremy guy bully you regarding a refund. I alerted my credit card company that I had a dispute with the transaction & forwarded all correspondence including his bilious emails. 4 weeks later I received a full refund with no contest from paranologies.
I also told this Jeremy guy I would inform the UK’s two Paranormal Societies about my interaction with paranologies to which I received an email saying “do it...do it now.”

Please don’t shop at PARANOLOGIES they are a disgrace, don’t give them any money...seriously?
My order was meant to be a Christmas gift for someone luckily I placed an order for the same items from a place called “GHOST AUGUSTINE.” It took 10 days from the USA to me in the UK. I’ve made further purchases from GHOST AUGUSTINE & can’t recommend them enough.

I purchased an item on 8/31/2020, today is 2/23/2021 and my item has not shipped. The response from Jermony Jones are: I moved, I can’t get supplies, I work alone, no projected shipping date and no refund.
