I used part time pilot to prepare for my private pilot checkride, which was sucessfull. I was very excited that they have added the IFR to the line up! I found the audio lessons helpful to squeeze learning into time at work or driving. The ground school's visual learning lessons are extremely helpful for me to grasp concepts that are new to me. I highly recommend for those that are multitasking aviation, family, work and life in general!

PTP has such an amazing way of bringing content to students. Not only this, but it encourages a sense of community and great bonding and networking to students with an amazing social media group for Q&A and advice.

I love that each lesson is available as text, audio, and video. This really helps every learning style. The material is laid out well and the diagrams are very useful.

This ground school is awesome! I think that the value you get for the money is exceptional. I am in the military, and there was even a discount for that! I typically like to listen to the podcasts while driving to and from work, then i review the lessons i listened to and finally take the quizzes. This type of studying has made the course much more manageable, and it helps being able to learn in multiple ways. Any time i have a question, I can shoot an email and will typically get a response in less than 15 minutes (during normal daytime hours of course). Highly recommend!

I am in Part Time Pilot Online Ground School right now. It is a big help not having to travel to a class. The explanations and videos are so thorough and user friendly, I am understanding better than I ever have from a live teacher or from any other online ground school.

Part Time Pilot is by far the best online ground school out there for three reasons. Number one and prolly the best is the price, flight training is expensive enough as it is and then having to spend $250+ on a ground school on top of flight training sucks. But here comes part time pilot to the rescue at nearly half the price of the top competitors. Super budget pilot friendly. Second best thing is the after lesson quizzes to make sure you’re actually grasping and understanding the lessons. Finally the additional practice tests that really helped me smooth out my weak spots on the exam and achieve a higher score. I'm so happy I chose Part Time Pilot as my online ground school. The material is very in depth while also being very easy to understand. There are plenty of resources available to get additional help if I'm having trouble understanding a topic -- I especially love the Facebook group! It's great being able to do the course at my own pace and jump forward/refer back to previous lessons as needed. Thank you Nick for creating such a great program!!!

I'm almost finished with the Ground School and Nick did a great job with the layout and making the lesson plans consumable for people of any experience level. He is also always working on ways to make the program better and more user friendly as well as adding resources to help with more than just the written exam. So glad I went with Part Time Pilot.

I chose Part Time Pilot for its ease of access. I read the reviews and everyone seemed to have nothing but good things to say about it so I was like why not. I purchased Gleam last year and though I did get some studying in, I just wasn't a fan of it. With Part Time Pilot you get videos, pictures, audio lessons, and an app. Not to mention bolden text for things you "must know." Honestly, when my crew members see me studying on the plane and they ask me about becoming a pilot I recommend everyone to Part Time Pilot because if I find it easy to use and understand I want others to know and experience the same as me.

I am currently about 35% through the ground school. The data has been presented in a pretty logical and orderly manner thus far. Some of the audio files contain errors. It wouldn't take much to produce a cleaner lesson. From the student's perspective, misspeaking a point, even with an immediate correction, could cause a recall error for a student who is trying to learn a large amount of information in a short amount of time. Therefore, eliminate the lesson presentation errors.

Otherwise, the experience has been worthwhile so far.

After trying a different ground school to obtain my dream of aviation, I finally found Part Time Pilot! With so many different ways to learn and digest all the information that gets thrown your way, it was the best choice I have made so far on my quest. Nick seems down to earth and has a great story of his own aviation journey and after reading that, it gave me the "I can do this!" attitude I needed.
