I bought part time pilot a few months back, but then I started flight school and they required me to buy the sporty’s ground. So I never got the chance to use part time pilot, however I emailed Nick and told him my situation and he refunded me right away. Great customer service and one less thing I have to worry about as a student.

I chose Part Time Pilot after listening to the podcast because I want to feel confident in my knowledge so that I can not only have the information, but understand why the information is important and how to use it. I felt that Nick not only delivered the information clearly in the podcast, but he translated it into real situations that help anchor the information into my memory. I also really like the phillosophy of this ground school as it takes into account that we, as students, have other things going on in our lives like jobs and family so the lessons are very efficient and provided in ways that acknowledge that we have limited time.

I have been following Nick at Part Time pilot on YouTube for quite some time. I can really relate to him in a way I couldn't with other Ground School programs.
Some of the other sites I have tried, I felt like they were set up for people who want to make a career in flying. Part Time Pilot says it all really, I just want to learn how to fly and learn to be the safest and best possible part time pilot I can be. Nick hits on subjects' other sites don't. Like a whole lesson on HOW to study. I got a lot from that lesson and it's making a difference for me.

For the price and everything included, PTP is the best choice. It has more options than King's and Sporty's, and is a great choice for new pilots.

What has made this experience so easy for a novice like I, is that everything from the process to the actual materials has been easy to understand and easy to obtain.

You get a lot of resources for your purchase. I bought the program after I spent hours listening to the podcast and watching his YouTube videos. I took pages of notes and decided to take the next step.

Best on line school. PTP has it all in order and well organized. You are not just limited to the online courses, you have the podcast, some zoom classes, videos. You have it all in this program. As a working mother and with everything I have to take care of. PTP is making it easier on me to study and most importantly to retain the information I study.

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly ground school that has all the bells and whistles of other ground schools, this is the ground school for you. It is very easy to understand, has a lot of extra content if you feel like doing that kind of stuff, and above all, you will come away feeling like a very confident, safe, and knowledgeable pilot.

I just started studying to become a pilot.
This school seems to have it all figured out )) That is crucial, as it allows students to take significant bandwidth of their brain shoulders.
In other words it's well organized and I have less things to worry about in my busy schedule.
I just have to find time to dedicate to this training and study, and the beauty of this school is that there are many ways to get the information, for people with all sorts of learning styles.

Part Time Pilot has helped provide structure to my ground school experience. Also, the different forms I am able to learn in helps me retain the information. I can read, listen, or watch videos which really helps. Additionally it is an up to date resource and is actively getting worked on by the owner vs other ground schools where you don’t know what you are buying.

Instead of studying 5 text books and 5 other guides, this is more conventional, comprehensive, and effective. It has built my confidence.

I learned a lot in the course which helped me earn a 93% on my written exam. This made the oral portion of my checkride go very smoothly.
