first class service helpful staff plenty coffee

I was looking for a low mileage XC60. Paul Rigby had the best selection of immaculately prepared examples. Oscar showed us round and was very knowledgeable. We took our favourite for a test drive. Placed a deposit and picked it up 4 days later. Very pleased with my new Volvo.

The sales rep was terrible . Originally he was very attentive but when I chose my car and went to pick he lacked the finishing touch and I was waiting for around 3.5 hrs !!!
My car wasn’t ready ie had tree sap all over bonnet as it had been sitting outside and there were a filter issue which hadn’t been checked prior to leaving and I had to take it back and as I live in Scotland ,I wasn’t happy !

my last review wasn't answered or acknowledged poor service all round and could sway my view on purchasing another Volvo

My wife & I had previously purchased 6 cars from Paul Rigby Volvo Birmingham, with exceptional customer service & after sales from Patrick Ford & the team at both the Birmingham & Stourbridge dealerships.

Within the last few months I have on a number of separate occasions contacted the Birmingham dealership to enquire about changing my wife’s car.

Unfortunately on all occasions the dealership either failed to call me back, or once I had an initial discussion with the salesperson & asked for further information, received no follow up call or any further contact.

Thinking that the level of customer service had severely reduced since not having Patrick Ford to liaise with, my wife subsequently bought a new car from Mercedes, which could of actually been a 7th Volvo car from Paul Rigby Volvo.

It would be nice to see Paul Rigby Volvo return to its core value of customer care & attention which was clearly demonstrated previously to both my Wife & I.

Paul Rigby isn't the closest Volvo garage to me but they do give the best service. Car collection and drop off is always on time and courteous (Steve is always friendly and professional). Would highly recommend.

Always helpful, very professional, efficient staff and live up to the high expectations I've always had of them. Servicing always done within the anticipated time with full car cleaning as part of the service. It make you feel great to be driving away with a good job done in a sparkling car in the full knowledge that the car is now 100% checked out, safe and fully road worthy. Once again my visit to Paul Rigby Volvo was great, even though there is major refurbishment work being carried out at the premises the staff are friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Perfectly clean and the staff were great. It would have been 5 stars, but the car was ready a good half hour later than the longest advertised time ie 2 hours and had been told 60 to 90 minutes. And there was a minor amount of work (quoted at £8) to tighten up a n exhaust heat shield, that surely i could have been asked if they could do it during the service.

Paul Rigby Volvo were able to provide their usual high level of service despite on-going refurbishment works to their premises. They also managed to repair damage to the under-tray beneath the radiator of my Volvo without needing to fit (expensive) new parts.
Excellent service and customer-care !

I always go back to Paul Rigby Volvo in Birmingham for Service and MOT. (I’ve been in London through 17 months of lockdown) but feel it’s worth making the trip). They are friendly and in my experience trustworthy. They know the car (a petrol V70) and keep a tab on it now the mileage is over 100,000. They have helped me keep previous cars (S80s) going to over 250,000 miles. Everything is explained and I feel I get value for money in a nice place with good people who take an interest.

I was able to book my car in for its annual service at a time convenient to me. Staff were (as always) very friendly and helpful. The work was undertaken professionally and promptly whilst I waited. Plenty of refreshments were available.
