I had a terrible experience with PDFConvert.net and want to warn others about their unethical billing practices. After paying £0.50 to convert one document in September 2023. I was unknowingly enrolled in a monthly subscription of £39.90 for nine months (£359). Despite multiple emails, they ignored me, and their phone line doesn't work. Avoid PDFConvert.net for a more reliable and ethical option.

I paid 80 pounds for combining a single pdf file.
I have to say that, it is a lesson that we need to learn for knowing that this is a scam.
I didn't see that 48 hr thing, I got a bill of 39.9 for the first month.
I unsubscribed the service by using the link. I got another bill of 39.9 for the seciond month.
I called today, a lady responed "that's why the number is there" as we all know that the link doesn't work at all.
Please learn from my experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. Last year I converted one document, paid for it and the resulting subscription which I then cancelled. Then, this year, they have fraudulently removed the same amount from my bank account even though they confirmed my subscription was cancelled. I am currently battling them and their systems for a refund. Their business plan is built on a complete scam... avoid at all costs.

i pay 50p for 1 document to be converted to pdf first week of this month but i did not subscribe for monthly, they took £39.90 from my card with out me knowing,
thank god my credit card block this transaction and massage me to confirm its me who actually making this payment or not,

Unethical and theft
I converted one document and fell in the trap of monthly £39.90 DD. I wrote to them and phoned them a few times but they continued to take £39.90 per month from my credit card. I chased and they have stopped responding. Not just unethical but this is theft. I am now having to resort to talking to the credit card company and if that doesnât work, cancel my credit card.

I also fell for this unethical procedure. So what I did was to contact them by phone, their number is on the website. the person who answered the phone delt with my problem straight way. Without asking they said they would refund the £39.99 and cancel the DD. I received an email conforming this. I phone my credit card company and they put further payments on hold. A bit of messing about but job done. I believe it was my fault for not reading the T&C.

Unethical Company - I agreed to pay 50p for 1 document to be converted to pdf. I did not see anything about agreeing to a subscription after 48hrs. £30/month subscription trap
First of all, when converting a jpeg to pdf, it only states at the far end of the process after uploading etc. that you need to pay £0.50. I was in an emergency situation at a foreign immigration point with not sufficient data to go do the same process with another (free) pdf converter, so paid the 50p. Then a few days later they charge me £30 for a MONTHLY subscription. For what?!?! Who would pay £360/year to convert to pdf?! You can convert pdf for free elsewhere. What a scam. Incredibly misleading. Go make money in a justified way.

Donât use them, they just trick you using their site to convert a single pdf document for 50p, then change just under £40 per month, by you unknowingly signing you up for a subscription, which continues until you log on and cancel. Thus is scandalous.knowing most people will forget to cancel with them. Just look at the other reviews, so many reports about being misled by the initial small charge and then finding the bigger amount has been charged only to their accounts shortly thereafter. Avoid at all costs!
