Software is not good, and support is weak.

I received the feeder for a gift summer of 2025. The battery ran down and would not recharge, so I found that the connection is weak and needed to be set. Then there was a software update the beginning of 2026 that completely froze my app. Eventually, it came alive in late Feb., but dies again due to a software glitch occurring due to the "deal" notifications (freezes app). Now I am waiting for the next software update to correct this issue; in the meantime the app does not work. I like the feeder, but the software is terrible and support is not great either. There is no phone support, only emails.

Good customer service

Hi I bought a PeckPerk Feder in the beginning of the year. Unfortunately , the battery of the camera died and I couldn’t charge it anymore. After some back and forth with customer service I received a full replacement for no extra cost. Very happy about that.

Everything works great except for the…

Everything works great except for the AI identification. I paid for 1 month to see how well it does and it identified 1 bird the first day. Now it just says "No birds identified." I love seeing the birds, but part of the reason I chose this particular bird feeder is because it's supposed to identify them as well.

I purchased this bird feeder from a…

I purchased this bird feeder from a local store and struggled to get it to charge. I also had issues trying to connect it to my phone. I reached out to the company via email and with a few back and forth emails I was able to get it up and running. At this point I am satisfied. The costumer service was great.

If I could put less than a 1 star I…

If I could put less than a 1 star I would-
This bird feeder is dangerous. And poorly designed.
I have found 3 dead birds inside, once food has been almost completely dispensed- if any left inside , they get inside and can’t get out. 3 dead and 2 I have found in time to set free .
The opening is large enough for small birds to obviously get inside .
I am for warning you -
It is heartbreaking to find dead birds inside- I have had this less then a month and several problems.
I fill it daily and it attracts a lot of birds to the point I have to fill it 2 x a day - if you don’t get to it before it depletes- you may come to find a dead or trapped little finch ..
I have tried contacting customer support- after 3 angey emails to them , a response that I could refund ,but that” it wasn’t a bird house “ no shit ! Do they think i am housing them ?
Once I requested a refund they have ignored me z.
Apparently they do not care -
I have thrown it away -
It is not worth the money , aggregation or heartache.

You can improve by getting a customer…service

You can improve by getting a customer service you tell us how to assemble feeder but no where can I find how to use it for instance i have lots of pictures in the album but no way to use them I have learned a lot on my own and am getting more use out of the feeder I think this is a good product but instructions on use would be a large improvement

I cannot get this device to work

I cannot get this device to work. One part of the App says it is connected; but the main screen says disconnected. I have double-clicked, tried to reset, nothing works. The device recognizes my WiFi and says the signal is strong. This has been going on about a month and I'm ready to give up...but it is a gift from my sister so would like to get it to work.

Terrible Instructions and Email only support

Both the paper instructions and the app instructions are not fully accurate. There are steps in both where you will come to a total stop, trying to figure out what to do. Customer service can only be dealt with through email, even if you practically beg them for a phone number to call. It took me almost 2 weeks of back and forth emails to reach a point of massive frustration and finally have to figure things out for myself. They only reply to emails once every 24hrs, usually in the early morning hours when you are asleep. Once I finally got the feeder and app figured out and working, I've been enjoying the product. But the weeks and hassle it took to reach that point? Not worth it. Avoid this company.

App is the worst I've ever seen

App is the worst I've ever seen, we've been trying to connect for 3 days, will not connect. If I could give it a minus rating I would.

Update: We finally got the app working and connected. It is working fine now. We had to change the screen size and font size on our phones to get it to work. However we can not get it to work on my phone as well.

Complete scam

Complete scam. Ordered over a month ago and haven't got any information except for a tracking number from China that doesn't work.
They haven't replied to any emails or chat with multiple attempts the last couple weeks.
