Bought trash can they are suppose to be durable it's 7 years i have them they are all breaking so i called company to see if they can replace them . they tell me that they can only give me one out of the 6 that i purchased because i do not have the receipt to when i purchased but there is a 10 year warranty. i will not longer buy their products they do not hold to what they say.

Rubbermaid was suggested to me by a coworker, for my pantry. I ordered the Brilliance line of containers and I've stored my cereal and sugar in them and they're truly airtight. I'm very happy about my purchase.

Customer service was extremely helpful and fixed all my issues.

I bought a 13 gallon Rubbermaid trash can and spent some serious cash on it because of their reputation for quality. I expected to get years of use out of it only to have the lid break on me for no good reason after only a year of use. I tried to find a replacement lid for it but they don't offer one. I found other reviews on their website for the same trash can with many complaints about the lid breaking. They only offered an apology and a thank you for the feedback. Rubbermaid quality and customer care is truly a thing of the past! I won't be buying any products from them in the future.

Customer Service is not responding my requests for service parts replacements, 2 attempts, one by phone and another one for the same request by email. I don’t know what else to do. This is frustrating.

The Rubbermaid shed I purchased arrived without the hardware necessary to assemble it. I called to have the parts sent and was given an order number and told it would take two or three weeks for the package to arrive and that I'd get an email with tracking information. Two weeks later I called again because I've not received the tracking info and was informed that "the carrier still hasn't picked it up." While the representatives I spoke to were pleasant, the lack of follow up by Rubbermaid is disappointing and leaves me feeling less than appreciated.
Edit: About 8 hours after I called to express displeasure I received an email with tracking info.

Rubbermaid Outdoor Sheds need some improvement.

Although they are very durable and strong, almost all of them just snap together.

During high winds, they easily break apart.

I have found pieces in trees and even on top of my roof at one time.

Customer service has been horrible, we bought a 100 gallon stock tank for our horses and it ended up cracking at the bottom. I contacted Rubbermaid within the 1 year timeframe and sent all required documents, they wanted to refund the price of it without tax instead of the total amount we paid. When I reached back out to let them know we needed to replace it ASAP because the temperatures were already in the mid 90's in Arizona and our horses needed fresh water they completely blew us off and never responded again! They initially claimed they were out of stock inn their warehouse... Just refunding our total price would have saved them shipping so we could go back to tractor supply and just buy another one with the total refund. Blowing off customers is extremely unprofessional for a big company selling defective products. This experience puts it horses in danger as my husband recently got injured at work losing a finger and is off work till he heals and money is tight, otherwise we would just go out and buy another one but they're not cheap to replace. The company should back their products and get back to their customers. Sarah is the customer service person I dealt with initially who I have not heard from again after multiple emails sent.

We purchased the large set of Rubbermaid brilliance food containers. It is stated safe for microwave, safe for freezer, and safe for dishwasher. Although when you take it from the refrigerator open up the lid run it through the microwave, eat it, clean it then it cracks. Junk.
We have thrown away so much we swear we'd never buy another piece of it. Buyer beware.

I recently purchased the spray mop and after 3 uses it does not spray. The store will not take it back as I don’t have the receipt. Who keeps all them? I’ve contacted Rubbermaid now 4 times and no response, I keep trying

Absolutely unreliable trash. Their mop stick let me down right when I needed . Literally they lock mechanism got the cleaning cloth loose

updated 5/11, Rubbermaid has come through fully and compensated me.
The trash cans are fantasic, very strong, great quality. They will definitely last me a long time!!

I purchased a 50 gallon rubbermaid tote outdoor garbage can. the cap fell off the wheel about 6-9 months later.
I contacted them about getting a replacement cap. after sending them pictures of the can, they told me the date on it shows 02/2020 so it is no longer under warranty!!!!
Rubbermaid says I need to purchase a new wheel and cap!!!

The item has not been delivered. Rubbermaid are not responding to my emails. It took some effort to find their phone number. I phoned 3 times and was cut off whilst trying to ask for a refund. Very poor customer service.

i am warning everyone that rubbermaids guarantee is false, many years ago i bought a rubbermaid patio set specifically because of its lifetime warranty . When i contacted rubbermaid for repairs or replacement i was told that they no longer make furniture . Fair enough but what about my LIFETIME WARRANTY .I was told that i was out of luck and would not be compensated at all sorry to bad . If they were no longer in business i would understand about not getting compensation ,but they are still in business . It is totally unfair and i feel cheated .WARNING do not trust any of the rubbermaid products they will not stand behind their products
