Thanks for friendly service, and quick delivery. I couldn't use the download due to IT issues my end, but this was quickly resolved by Pyramid who sent me a USB stick out in the post.

Excellent course, the speakers so good at delivering content and really getting the point across. Have much more confidence using Pecs now.
Course materials very useful too.

I bought this because I was fed up of trying to get pecs pictures for free online. The quality of the pictures is good, but they are not the Boardmaker pecs style that I wanted with the little round faces. This is what we use at my school. It doesn't show you a preview of the pictures you will be getting so you have to part with your money before you see what you are getting. Also, although it is billed as being British, it has words like 'recess' instead of break, 'kindergarden' instead of nursery and has a pec for 'earthquake drill' which we don't have in the UK. It also repeats the same pictures several times but calls them different things, for example pictures (of wellies) but calls them wellington boots, rubber boots and gum boots.This means that you don't get as many pictures as the package advertises, as it does this a lot of times. I was also disappointed with the number of school subjects included, as this is one of the main reasons for buying it. I'm an English teacher and it doesn't even have a symbol for English! I was also wanting to use it for social stories, but it doesn't have a very good range of different feelings/emotions, which was my second reason for buying it. I don't really think it's worth the money.

The PECS folder is insanely expensive considering it’s just a ring binder with one side shorter than the other and some plastic dividers. It feels exploitative and has no reason to be so pricey

i am 37,have autism and mild learning disability and have used PECS for many years to communicate, since my appointee gave me a top up mastercard for using online i have been buying useful things for myself from pyramid like a new smaller PECS book-i still have my large pyramid PECS book from years ago,a new PECS book lanyard, and PECS software itself so i dont have to request my PECS from my CLDT SLT.

the delivery is a bit slow for anything youve ordered but other than that both my dad and myself rate the company highly and i am so greatful to the person who sits there and designs the thousands of PECS pictorials.
