Great facilities and was looked after every step of the way. Our Journey with Pelargos started in Dublin. We went to a fertility show in the RDS in February and spoke to many clinics. We arranged a ten minute one to one with both Sofia Meleti and Harry Karpouzis. We explained that we had two failed IVF attempts due to my low egg count and after speaking with these two we made the decision to go the egg donor route in their facility in Athens. We went for our consultation and tests and sperm collection all on the same day. I had a scan to make sure everything was okay and we were blown away by how quick and efficient the facility was run. It would be November before we had a suitable donor and everything happened quickly. The preparation medication, the scans to check the thickness of my uterus, bloods and more bloods. My pharmacist was impressed by how helpful they were in relation to the required medication, he told me he had dealt with lots of clinics abroad in relation to IVF and They were not very helpful. The day of the embryo transfer I was so nervous but Sofia was there to reassure me and ensure the paperwork was in order. After speaking with the embryologist I was sitting in a waiting room with a few other women who were getting the same procedure and we all wished each other luck. It was lovely. Dr Karpouzis carried out the embryo transfer and said it went very well. We got two embryos transferred that day. I had my six week scan and I can say I have twins. Two strong heartbeats and I'll stay hopeful all goes well. I thank both Sofia and Harry from the bottom of my heart. They truly are there 100% for their patients

I would like to use this message to report that I had a long but very interesting experience with the Perlagos team. I was very impressed by Dr. Karpousziz's compassionate and professional approach.
Given my age and medical history, the process took four years, but throughout this period, the doctor took the time to gradually eliminate the obstacles to the success of my treatment.
I felt that the treatment I received was truly personalized. This is why I was able to have my little boy after five transfers. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Dr. Karpousziz and his team for their professionalism and attention, advice, and psychological support. Thank you to my King Doctor, Harry Karpouziz, for giving me the joy of being a mother at 52. My son was born on May 21, 2025

Well with what they have done for us, it’s just incredible! Holding our two beautiful boys in our arms. Just can’t thank them enough.
Dr Karpouzis is very thorough, making sure to do all tests and procedures beforehand to give you the best chances.( not many clinics do this.) Still can’t believe he did it for us first time! Still pinching ourselves:).

After five long years of battling infertility, our dream of becoming parents is finally coming true, thanks to Pelagros IVF clinic. We cannot recommend them highly enough. From our very first consultation, we felt supported and understood. Dr. Karpouzis was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every step of the IVF process, putting our minds at ease. We also want to give a special shout out to our wonderful midwife, Sofia whose ongoing support and care has been invaluable. One of the things that impressed us most was the short waiting list, allowing us to begin our journey sooner than we anticipated. The entire protocol was clearly explained and easily understandable, making a stressful process feel much more manageable. We are 7weeks pregnant with our baby and we are eternally grateful to Pelagros IVF clinic and the team for helping us achieve our miracle.

My wife have 4 time FET failed here in the UK before we decided to go to Athens. Pelargos IVF was the first clinic that responded to me when I was looking for an IVF clinic in Athens. Having 4 failed attemps of embryo transfer was really painful mentally and financially. My wife and I chose to go to Europe instead of continuining our IVF journey in the UK because the facilities here in the UK is not complete. They do no have PGT-A and lots of test are not availble in the place that I live.

We decided to go to Athens in 2024 and we had all our test done and documents (we are jot British citizens yet that time) it was difficult as we needed to go obtain a visa to get there and all the paperworks. However, our IVF coordinator (Sofia) was very patient and kind to us. She helped us alot and she is really kind and compationate to the patients.

Dr. Harry was our consultant. He is brilliant. He ticked all the boxes and made sure we have personalized plan based on our situation.

Fast forward today.

My wife is pregnant. I have seen the heartbeat of our baby. I am so grateful that I have chosen Pelargos IVF clinic. I pray that they will be able to help more and more people like us.

I have recommended the clinic to my friends and one of them have decided to go to Pelargos IVF.

Athens is a nice and afforable place to stay. Peple are nice and the food is great. We felt like we were having holidays when we were doing our IVF.

I am sure we will be back again at Pelargos next year to have another IVF cycle.

My experience with Pelargos team was very good. Dr. Karpouzis and his team are very professional and experienced. Every patient has a personalised protocol depending on their situation. In my case I am almost 40 years old, polycystic ovary, unexplained infertility and after 5 years attempts and a failed IVF I've managed to conceive. Dr. Karpouzis excluded all the possibilities of infertility making additional tests and recommending pgta to increase the possibility of a good result. I always received a great support and despite not living in Greece was never left alone. A special thank you also to Sofia that has followed me during this journey with empathy and disposability.

Good support from the team. I did 2 rounds of egg transfer using donor eggs. First round failed and we did Hysteroscopy. Then after putting me on a plan, I am now 12 weeks pregnant. Dr Harry and his team have been kind and helpful. I cannot thank them enough!
