Super easy and smooth, Elliot Harley was a delight to deal with and really helpful. Couldn't fault it.

After a horrible experience with solicitors delaying the sale of our house and purchase of our apartment due to lack of attention to details, the final slap in the face was when we took possession of our apartment only to discover that items that we requested to be removed were not removed. These were 1. Washing machine (we were bringing our own new high efficiency model 2. A broken armchair 3. An electric fireplace (we were bringing our own). The negotiator claimed she didn't remember us requesting said items being requested to be removed. Then when we paid £260 to have them removed she first claimed that the previous owner had arranged to have the items removed for £150. But because we already had the items removed there was no more mention of the £150. Then the story transformed into that the property was leased out to a tenant, and that the tenant had arranged to have items removed at no expense to them. Further, the toilet was not functioning at all (our second viewing, which was extremely difficult to arrange) was done with no electricity in the flat that made it impossible to do a proper inspection of the toilet. ALSO...we had no heat in the living room. The only radiator in the room was non-operable. Not a great start to our new life in our new home. Beware of unscrupulous negotiators. Not a good experience at all for us with Peter Anthony. Will not mention negotiator by name...

The whole process from viewing my flat to moving in was so easy. Elliot was great, always in communication with me and even came into branch after hours to make sure I got my keys on my selected move in date. Would definitely recommend :)

I had some separate problems with some leaks prior to Christmas one of them being down to the premises directly above my premises which affected my bathroom in particular and I registered the issues directly with Peter Anthony Liverpool office and between their contractors plumbers and fitters and lovely staff in the office in particular a special mention to the lovely Cara who made it her business to ensure these issues were dealt with efficiently for me once she was involved.

She was friendly polite courteous and listened to my concerns and ensured a swift resolution with a positive attitude and I can't thank her enough for her help in ensuring everything got sorted out. She is an absolute credit to Peter Anthony. Thank you so much Cara.

My house has been on the market for rental since beginning of November, I understand is close to Christmas therefore understandably would have attracted less interest but there’s little communication about prospective viewings when this girl is off for whatever reason.

On most Saturday there was no one picking the phone when I called. Saturday just gone I called to find out if the appointment has been cancelled because no one turned up, the appointment was due at 10am. I called from 10:15 to 3pm no one was available, I was wondering do they open on a Saturday. I called the following Monday I was told this particular was sick which means no one will contact me to let me know the appointment was cancelled or was it cancelled? I still hear anyone to let me know what really happened and why no one turned up.

On few other occasions the estate agent was supposed to be at my house when the viewings took place but each time she would call me at the last minute to tell me she is stuck in the traffic and that she couldn’t make it. I’m losing my patience with Peter Anthony, I can’t afford to hang around, I will use another estate agent.

These things can be an anxiety inducing rollercoaster ride but they both used their in depth knowledge of the property market and legal ins and outs to guide and support me throughout. When problems arose they provided solutions, advice and reassurance, nothing felt like too much trouble. Plus they are warm and friendly to converse with and always on hand when needed. Rent a property from Salford branch, last minute to give you the contract force you no choice to sign. The apartment without any cleaning, I need to empty the dust bag every minute for just a small apartment 20 times more dust than my previous apartment. Grease everywhere in the kitchen. Missing 2 light bulbs out of 9. Mould in bathroom only covered by some new paint. Therefore, no one will mention the inventory checklist even though you ask for it.

I recently bought a property with the help of Ofelia at Peter Anthony, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Ofelia was easy to deal with — professional, responsive, and always on the ball.

Honestly, the worse estate agents I've ever used. Takes them forever to sort out any kind of dispute with a landlord and if work needs doing it is never urgent. The manager at their Salford branch is also very arrogant and thinks he's something special. I'd avoid if I was you. Go with a safer and more reliable option.
