First time I've bought a book from

First time I've bought a book from Peter Harrington. It was book I like and it was at the right price. Peter Harrington responded immediately in sending it. Living in the United States, I was amazed how quickly it arrived. It was delayed a short while only because of an extra step it took through U.S. Customs. The staff at Peter Harrington were responsive when the shipment had the extra snag in customs.

Watch for the On-Line Sale

I bought a lovely signed, first edition of John McPhee's The Deltoid Pumpkin Seed (1973). I had my eyes on this for a while, but then when the title was listed in your on-line sale, I pounced. A beautiful copy of the book, and a substantial discount, made my day. Nice follow-up order confirmation by Olly Clifton. Speedy delivery, too!

Bought a great book from Peter

Bought a great book from Peter Harrington, the first in quite a while as I haven't been to the UK in ages, and Lucy Thompson was especially helpful making sure the sale went smoothly as Telstra, my email provider, had inexplicably blocked the initial emails from the company.

We are sorry to hear that Customs applied the wrong VAT code to your shipment. We filed all the paperwork and invoices correctly, and this was an error on Customs' part.

We were not made aware of the issue by either Customs or yourself, so we were unable to do anything about it. If you still need any assistance with this matter, please contact us directly to let us know.
