Great experience dealing with Peter vardy leasing. Very prompt with call backs and fast delivery.

DO NOT LEASE FROM THIS COMPANY

Ordered car – Promised it would be here in two weeks at the end of September because it was in stock and just needed me to put the order in – Found out after 2 weeks after chasing Peter Vardy for an update of car delivery. I spoke with after salesperson called Alison Molloy that it was not in stock, and the salespeople always say this ??

The car arrived on 1 November at 8pm, so in was pitch black darkness outside – I was told it was arriving in the morning or afternoon that day not 8pm in the evening – I inspected the car & notice a big panel on the car missing and the car was not valeted- There were chalk marks all over car on inside/outside windows and over the wheels – These marks would not come off.

I rang Peter Vardy – spoke to aftersales Alison Molloy – sent 10 + photos of the missing panel on the front of the car and photos of the terrible state & dirty condition it arrived in & I advised that there was a loud rattle from inside the car engine or somewhere underneath the car where the panel was missing.

Alison Molloy promised to get everything sorted, I been chasing this every week to see what is happening now 3 weeks later 20/11 STILL NO UPDATED OF A DATE WHEN THE CAR WILL BE FIXED AND INSPECTED – Absolutely disgraceful after service and criminal they release a car with a panel missing and a loud rattle on the side where panel is missing.

Peter Vardy Leasing should be a ashamed of themselves on the way they have treated me – I have now made a formal complaint to the FCA & BVRLA the trade body for vehicle and leasing to investigate why the car is not fit for purpose, dangerous to drive, the broken promised and to look at cancelling this contract that was misleading and false in every way of the description of the car – Was promised the car would be brand new in perfect condition and spotless – The reality of this was a total lie and the car if not fit for purpose.

Once Peter Vardy takes your money, they don’t want to know you – then they will tell you the truth they are the only middleman in this leasing set up and there were several other companies involved and you’re not allowed to speak to the other companies – Absolutely disgraceful and misleading in every way - No one taking responsibility and I found myself having to contact Nissan direct and chasing up the missing panel part to see how much it cost & order part, so I could let Peter Party and email them with this information at their request .

The entire experience of doing business in good faith with Peter Vardy Leasing has been really upsetting, disappointing and it has totally ruined the feeling of having a new car – Call yourself a profession company ? Who are you kidding? I Don’t think so!

I spoke to a different leasing company with money to spend. They could not get the model of car I wanted and promised a call back with a substitute - I awaited 48 hours and chased. In the end I applied via Peter Vardy leasing and within agreed timescales my wife loves me more as her car on the way....

On 13.09.2022 I found a new car (VW T cross, auto) advertised by Peter Vardy Leasing via CARWOW portal. This car was clearly advertised as "IN STOCK"and I needed the car sooner rather than later, therefore I have engaged with further communication in this matter and decided to go ahead with the lease. I have initially connected with person called Craig Lamont who works for Peter Vardy. He has confirmed in writing this car was marked as "IN STOCK" and ready for delivery November 2022. Not what I would call “IN STOCK” but hey. I was asked to complete and submit leasing documentation. Mr Lamont proceeded with constant phone calls that afternoon to speed up all documentation.
Shortly after all process was taken over by Mr Harry Badesha who assured this car is scheduled for delivery November 2022 and again “IN STOCK”. He also requested immediate processing fees paid of £180.00, which I paid on 13.09.2022. There was no communication or updates in this matter. I was forced to chase and call for updates on the order.
On 28.10.2022 I received a phone call and email advising this car is not available till mid-March 2023.
Car was miss advertised. It was misleading to show it as "IN STOCK". I would not be even looking at that particular vehicle knowing that delivery will take place in the next year. Waste of time. Deeply disappointed with customer service provided. I absolutely understand there could be delays beyond control of the leasing company and would be absolutely fine with this if it was a factory order. This was “IN STOCK” order. Anyway, anyhow raised a complaint and received an email from Mr Clatcher who apologized and basically blamed everything on VW. At least got my order cancelled and processing fees refunded, for what it is worth.
