These people don't care about Veterans
These people don't care about Veterans. They get their money and that's all they care about. It is a scheme to extract money from our benefits and not Veteran friendly. Finance department lies about disbursement of funds as well. Then they talk about systems. I work in systems and it doesn't work like that.

I would give this school a 3
I would give this school a 3. My name is Stephanie Mcdougald and I just graduated. I had no ceremony just my certificate. Secondly the way they do the stipends is very unfair at times. They take their portion of what they are owed and will have the students waiting to get their money. Money that belongs to the student not the school. As a college student we all know those stipend checks help. Send me my money please. It does not belong to you. I started my bachelors here this month and Iâm currently rethinking about leaving this university. Some things are just about principal. I hope your boss holds onto to your check until they feel like giving it to you!

Lead by Example
My professor is exemplary with the knowledge and life examples that are provided in the course. The examples truly shed light on each chapter and assist with the learning and understanding of the course objectives.
A low star review
Communication and accuracy during conversations with administration /counselors/entry specialists/ whatever other departments I had to go to were my biggest issues. On the website log in my any questions contact counselor was one person then he had minimal answers and would tell me I needed to talk to this person or that person. Other times I would have one conversation and call back, talk to someone else, and the notes from previous conversations would be wrong or inaccurate like being notified of an en-rollment or what clearly needed to be submitted for programs, or classes that were scheduled to begin but because of lack at attendees the class was cancelled. The other thing was I would get constant calls "just checking in". In one week I got a "check-in" call 3x. By the 3rd time I started to panic thinking something was wrong or I needed to do something else so it created a bit of stress which was not needed. I hope my experience with UOP is unique and if it weren't for the need and the cost of the program I would have dropped out of the course at the very beginning. I will say my main point of contact, Shelley, was very very helpful and knowledgeable. The instructors also were knowledgeable.

My last two instructors have made the end of my experience horrible, they both have not been working with me with my grades. I have been a A student my whole program but these last two classes have dropped me to Câs. Both instructors need to reevaluated for their teaching and empathy toward teaching students.

Going back to school was always in my plans. I really liked that I could work on my school work from home and able to balance out everything in my life.
Attend fully online college here!!!!
University of Phoenix was the perfect online college for me. Everything from beginning to end was done online, or through email, and it wasn't even mandatory that I travel to another state to participate in the ceremony. All the instructors were friendly and flexible. There were so many helpful resources available to achieve my goals. I was also able to work around my schedule. University of Phoenix is a great online college!
This college is awesome
This college is awesome! I get to learn at my own pace and the teachers are always there to help, whether by phone, text, or video. There is help for the people with disabilities. The instruction helps you get ready for the real world in your career. I highly recommend this school!
Financial Services NEEDS to be under review. âŠ
I am giving University of Phoenix one star strictly because of my experience with their Financial Services department. The level of inconsistency, poor communication, and lack of flexibility I experienced was beyond frustrating. I was repeatedly given conflicting information regarding what was required for financial clearance. At different points, I was told I needed:
a $3,000 payment, a balance under $2,500, and later a completely different amount of $4,498. Despite these changing expectations, I consistently communicated the same plan from the beginning: pay $3,000 toward my balance and continue structured weekly payments until the remaining balance was paid off. I followed through on exactly that. Although one payment was declined due to the payment being made on a Monday instead of the scheduled Friday, which prompted the end of that payment plan. Another payment plan was made, however in order to be âfinancially clearedâ again I had to make a payment before I started the class instead of the planned payment scheduled . I paid over $1,600 toward my balance before making the requested $3,000 payment and setting up weekly payments of $127.02 for 10 months. Even after demonstrating consistent good-faith payments and financial responsibility, I still faced delays, rescheduling threats, and unclear answers about whether I would be allowed to continue my classes. The most disappointing part is that the university advertises itself as flexible and supportive for working adult students, yet my experience was the complete opposite. There was very little flexibility when it came to financial hardship or structured repayment efforts, even when I was actively making large payments and honoring every agreement communicated to me. I understand universities have policies, but students should not have to navigate contradictory information, shifting requirements and robot-like responses, while trying to continue their education. The stress and uncertainty this created unnecessarily impacted my academic progress. I hope the university seriously reviews how Financial Services communicates with students and handles financial clearance situations moving forward. Even more interesting is I hear this type of stuff happens all time with financial services.

The professors are not onlyâŠknowledgeable but kind
The professors are not only knowledgeable but also uplifting and encouraging. One of my Favorites said " I'm not here to break your head I'm here to help you understand".
Good for working adults
This program is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. Help is always available and response time has always been within a reasonable time.
Classes are a very easy, go at your own pace level. I donât necessarily feel like Iâm getting top tier education or instructor feedback/participation. It feels like the instructor lays the roadmap for the course and leaves it up to the students to teach themselves. Which can be frustrating. The instructors are very responsive to issues, however when it comes to teaching, it is very âcopy/pasteâ.
