Company claimed to be ELCAS accepted i paid deposit, 1 week later i had to call them back as they are not! I got told it was a technical issue and they will get back to me which took me out of the cooling off period! Its now been 2 months of constantly chasing them up and being told someone from account would call me. Im £750 down as a soldier with a familiy thats a lot of money to loose, no one contacts you

Entire course it was very well explained, and all members of the staff friendly and very good communication.
Definitely I will recommend Phoenix .

As a female getting into the industry, only other women can understand how deeply daunting this could be. But the phoenix team (Jaye, Tom, and Lance specifically) all respected that and helped me learn what I need to learn, female-specific skill sets too. And on top of that, they treated me like the other men in the class, which in this industry is a valid approach - we’re all operatives first and foremost.
I knew what to expect from Phoenix before starting based on friend recommendations, but only when joining the class was I truly blown away by how amazing it all is.
I’ll forever be grateful to the Phoenix team for getting my foundation built for what I hope to be a strong and successful career.

The phoenix course is difficult and demanding,but it enhances the discipline into people,and makes them work efficiently as a team. We comprehended fully the mentality of the close protection industry and put some more principles in our way of thinking and acting.

The course was very good and giving real life scenarios. Which was very good.

I had a fantastic time on my recent FREC 3 course, great facilities in a decent location.
Leon and Craig were excellent instructors and really know there stuff.
Leon is a credit to the company and a real asset and manages to teach in a style that I was able to relate to.
I am now looking forward to returning to Phoenix in the near future for my close protection needs

Good course. On a higher level with the standard of instruction and real world experience.

The instructors were very professional and knowledgeable on what they were teaching us and were able to answer any questions we had in depth, they also made sure that everything taught to us was understood at every point.

The trainers are knowledgeable and very experienced in the field. The course is not easy, it's challenging and rewarding.

You will learn skills for life, and discover things about yourself you may not have known. Get comfortable being uncomfortable.

Combat day, evasive driving, team and foot formations, and the shooting range were stand out days.

My experience in this course has taken me to another level in terms of leadership and communication, and I have really learned a lot from Lance and J and the individuals around me in the course.

I came with the intention to develop myself in a particular area. When I got to Phoenix, I realized that there were more than just CP training the tutors were into.

They were guidance counsellors, confidantes, psychologist and every bit of every character and personality you needed to support you along the journey.

Your strengths and weaknesses were highlighted and tested. I am grateful for the experience... Training were real life scenarios that positioned you where you would be and how you are expected to respond.

I would totally recommend this course to to be done at Phoenix. Tutors are well experienced and grounded in everyday needed.. from Surveillance - Hostile Ops. To be honest, it's gonna be a challenge but the ride is worth every minute of it.

Special thanks to Gov for the inspirational speech. Lance + Jermaine for "the hurry-ups"... and the ride we all experienced. Tom for guidance and behind the scenes task being completed.

Absolutely amazing course! Very demanding throughout but that is the standards within the CP world, high expectations. I found the course to be very professional, the instructors Lance & Jay are two extremely passionate individuals and want to help guide you to the best of your ability. Not only the instructors but Tom from the team is extremely helpful and there to assist where needed. 100% would recommend anyone thinking of beginning there journey, to do it with Phoenix!

Standards are very high and content delivery was spot on.Thank you to the team for their time and patience in training us to be qualified Phoenix CPO's.Wouldn't have gone anywhere else👏

The course was well delivered by very knowledgeable instructors. My only real issue was not having time to eat but the benefits far outweigh the discomfort so can’t bring myself to knock a star off. All round great experience and I’ve definitely added to my skill set. I was more than happy and honoured to shake my instructors hands at the end of a successful course.

I paid for a CP top up course back in December, of which the company cancelled the course and promised a refund. After numerous phone calls and emails with Tom Russell and their accounts dept I had no choice but to escalate the matter as I was nearly £500 out of pocket. I’m a veteran and have been on the circuit for about 15 years The Company is registered as Zenith operators limited yet trading under Phoenix. This zenith however is being compulsory struck off but they are actively adverting courses on Facebook. Stay clear of this company. The photos to prove this are on a google review also about them. I’d also suggest using a company ran by ex military as these dominate the CP market.

Was an incredible experience. Learnt so much and was humbled by my instructors. True legends and advocates to the security industry.

They have taught me what it means to be committed, to keep pushing and essentially what it takes to be a good CPO.

I enjoyed my time with pheonix, from the start I didn't know what to expect but the degree and level of which lance and jaye took to make sure we got all information we needed and the patiences they had to for each person showed there commitment to teaching us and trying to produce competent CPO's. I learned a lot from this course thank you again
