I was really disappointed by the platform. I paid 45 bucks and I only got one good photo, and even that wasn't as good as promised. I encourage everyone to not pay for this. Either try to find a better AI platform or try to get photos yourself. The pictures on the homepage before you log in showing the reviews are simply not true. Every single time I created a new AI model and tried to create a new character, my face just wouldn't look how it is, and my physique, which is very lean and athletic, would look worse in the pictures for some reason, which makes no sense.

I was using PhotoAI some time ago, and back then it created good images. Then the mode was changed, and now you can only create two types of images, but they look terrible. Completely unusable. They don’t resemble the avatar at all anymore. These images cannot be used.

And you can no longer access the old avatar or the other mode. It was said that you would receive a refund if no credits had been used—which was the case for me—and if you left a message in a special complaint portal. That was supposed to be the only way to reach support.

However, nobody responds there. No one reacts, there is no refund, and not even any contact. I cannot recommend this tool anymore. It’s a shame—it used to be good. Now it’s terrible and no longer creates usable photos.

Last year they used Flux and it was brilliant!

Now this changed and my photos are nothing like me, mix option is completely off. Waste of money and you can't even get a refund. I paid $100 and used it 1 hour to hate it.

Problem has not been fixed. My imaged are still returning with distorted face. No one has contacted me or made any effort to fins what is suddenly going wrong with the model and prompts that were working several days ago

It's too expensive but it gives very good results

The only problem that I had was the lack of support. There is no one to contact and my request on the bugs platform got automatically deleted. It says that the app is self service, but none of the self service options work. They accidentally charged me twice and I had no way to get my money back

I paid 199$ on December 1st and there are receipts/screenshots from both Venmo & PhotoAI that it was paid and yet their email sent Me a message just as the money was taken out that the payment was unsuccessful. There is no way to contact anyone to get this resolved. Contacting the billing email returns back void as it is not a real email address. Contacting their AI assistant on the site returned no results either. So I was just duped out of 200$. Now to go about seeing if Venmo can dispute with them to get the money back...who knows. They lost a loyal consumer.

We are Nearly in to 2026. This behavioural is just not acceptable.

Our Slogan is “ We are Just Not doing that anymore “, nor are we prepared to standby and let people be conned/tricked/fooled and lied to. It’s unethical to say the least.

My bank thankfully alerted me that this company was trying to get money out of my account. They put me up for a subscription without me being made aware. I only agreed to pay 3 pounds or so for some photos and they were absolutely rubbish anyway. They charged me 3 more pounds for exact same photos because their website is designed to rob you. Emailing customer service didn't do anything. Shame on you! Go and get a real job!

Pretty damn dog shit. All photos are obviously ai and the claim to use them on dating apps is horseshit. Complete waste of quite a lot of money. Get a real photographer or a friend instead

They charged me for a yearly subscription I did contact them to request a refund immediately however they never reached me out back, it's a scam

I purchased a yearly premium subscription, took 50 photos, and the credits disappeared.

I really enjoy using Photo AI. I do have to be very specific with my prompts, and there was definitely a learning curve. However, now I'm getting some great results. I started here because I was looking for quality videos, and I found them!

I attempted to purchase 500 extra credits but received an error message, and the transaction didn’t go through. I then tried again—this time with 1,000 credits—which also failed. Despite both attempts being unsuccessful, my credit card was charged for both, resulting in a total payment for 1,500 credits, even though I only intended to buy 500.

To make matters worse, I was charged twice but never received the credits or a refund. I reported the issue over a month ago on ideasbugs.featurebase.app, but it has been completely ignored.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend the service. Customer support appears to be non-existent, and it feels like money is being taken without delivering what was promised.

The photo results with this app are simply amazing! I was truly impressed by how professional and high-quality the images turned out – with just a few clicks. I have been really happy with photoai. I input lots of high quality photos of the model and it has been able to generate a ton of photos and videos of the model in a ton a poses and different situations. I have been extremely impressed.
