Photography Course London レビュー 

I’m giving Mikael and all at Photography Course London 5 stars. I started my Diploma before the pandemic, I am a slow learner. Mikael has allowed me to take my time, sitting the same classes over again in order for me to get what I need out of the course. They are a flexible and supportive team and I personally love going to the classes. My photography skills have improved so much and I understand so much more. I never thought I would be able to make sense of it all but I am and it feels great, a real achievement for me who has always struggled learning new things. Thanks Mikael x

I had a great time at the Digital Photography Crash Course. As a complete beginner, I went in with basically no prior knowledge about my camera, but left feeling much more confident in my grasp of the basics, such as shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Our teacher Mikael was clear, concise and extremely helpful and patient. I would very much recommend this class to other beginners wanting to get a basic grounding in how to start using and enjoying their camera!

I attended the Intense Foundation of Digital Photography, Levels 1 and 2 on consecutive days. Both days were excellent. Mikael was a great tutor. He explained all the concepts clearly. I learned a lot and really enjoyed the two days. Would recommend the course (and PCL) highly.

I took the lighting for portrait photography course with Mikael this week and I cannot recommend it enough. The day started with some theory and a discussion with Mikael about what we were individually looking to get out of the course. We then got an introduction to some lights both analog and digital as well as stands, backdrops and modifiers. Finally we got to experience a test shoot with a model and take photos ourselves using several different lighting setups. I would personally recommend this course to anyone from beginner to more advanced photographers looking to get a better understanding of lighting in a studio. I will definitely be returning to do some of the other courses they have to offer. Mikael has a deep understanding of photography and lighting and is very good at explaining complex theory in a clear way.

I had booked the Photoshop Foundation Level 2 course & just through the way it worked out on the day, it ended up just being me on the course with the course instructor, Mikael.

The level of knowledge and experience Mikael has around Photoshop as well as Bridge and Light Room Classic is phenomenal, on top of his extensive knowledge with photography.

This, however, was in no way overwhelming in the way he taught the course, Mikael tailored the course to my level of understanding and knowledge of Photoshop that I already had - I was given time to write any notes and, where needed, Mikael went over certain aspects again.

The course is structured in a way that encompasses practical learning with your laptop as opposed to power point presentations and technical jargon speak.

I have never been the most computer literate person, but I walked away from the course with a greater understanding and knowledge of photoshop and building blocks that I can practice with and use in my line of work.

I took the intense foundation level 1 course after spending months getting lost in YouTube tutorials and books. It was great to have an actual person to explain things and Mikel was an excellent tutor. Everything was explained in a way that was accessible and easy to understand. The small group meant we all had time to ask questions and I have booked in on several more courses. Would highly recommend.

Having never picked up a camera since the 80's, I felt really nervous about attending the beginner class due to my complete lack of knowledge. The class size was small, just 5 pupils including myself and the teacher was very patient and very good at explaining the different functions and uses. We got the opportunity to visit a local park to practice, and I'm quietly impressed with the photo's I took. I'm looking forward to signing up to the next level too.

I have done Studio Lighting: Portraits course with Mikael and during all day I learnt so many new things and have done amazing photos with different lighting and settings. First we learnt theory and what kind of equipment is available, later we practiced with other students and in the end we practiced more with model who is professional actor. Recommend this course to everyone who is interested in doing great portraits and want to learn how studio lights/ equipment work

I've dipped in and out of various courses at Photography Course London (probably would have been easier to just do the diploma but there we go). The course content is EXACTLY what I needed to learn, making sense of fundamental techniques that I "knew" but didn't actually know.

Best of all is the different teachers you'll work with, each with their own style, interests and experiences with photography which will really motivate you to grow your portfolio and just take more photos.

I highly recommend this course, I recently went to the level 1 beginner photography day course and I learnt so much from the theory of using my camera as well as creative tricks to produce amazing looking photos. It's also great to get feedback face to face and instantly tackling any issues or questions I had. My photos have instantly improved and I have signed up to their diploma. Looking forward to joining the other classes they have to offer!
