Photography Course London レビュー 

I took the beginner course in October 2024 which was so useful and so much better than trying to learn via YouTube etc. The best part is being taught by experienced photographers. It was this that was the PCL teacher Liane Harris that told me to shoot what is important to me. I am now a part time photojournalist shooting what is important :)

Steve was a great coach. He was friendly, warm and happy to answer and questions we had.
Not once did I feel I was asking stupid questions.

Honest and direct, exactly what was required.

Had no idea about photography going in. Just point and click. Left knowing how to use my new camera and how to take some pretty cool photos. I have to keep practicing to keep the knowledge in my brain. It was taught in a way that was made super easy for me to understand. Loved it! Extremely happy with the course! Had to much fun too. Part theory part practical. The practical really helped me put into practice what I learnt.

Really enjoyed the course. Everything was well explained -theory then practice . Looking forward to part 2 on the 26th July

Attended the Intense Foundation of Digital Photography - Level 1. There were four of us on the day. Whilst I had the least knowledge it made absolutely no difference. I went into the day knowing very little about my camera or how to use some of even the most basic functions. I walked out in a completely different space and with so much more confidence. I definitely recommend this course and PCL!

This was a great full day experience for beginners with digital cameras. I’ve been to classes before but this was the best one the way the teacher taught it made it easy to understand and lots of time for questions and answers. Small group so more individual assistance given in the afternoons practical session compared to other courses. Overall a very good experience with lots of knowledge gained. Great teacher and definitely worth going. Will be attending more sessions with this company. Thank you

I just finished two consecutive courses at Photography Course London and I was super impressed with both. Small class sizes meant individual help and the opportunity to ask a lot (!!) of questions. We covered a lot of technical material but Mikael made it fun and interesting. Great to learn from a successful professional photographer - so many helpful tips and tricks for Lightroom and Photoshop. I'll definitely come back for future courses or workshops.

I have done 2 private lessons at PCL and both times had excellent teachers. I came away with new skills , well explained and would highly recommend - for the novice or experienced

What a fantastic course with so much usable information given. The tutor Mikael was knowledgable, patient and really presented in way to layer and build confidence. I’ve had my dslr for ages and now finally feel ok to venture from auto mode! Ideal location around Shoreditch and The admin team were responsive to my questions and I’ll definitely be looking to continue my photography journey with The Photography Course London.

Gary the course leader was really helpful throughout the day. Morning spent looking at inspirational photos and discussing some potential techniques. Afternoon out and about taking photos in the Brick Lane/Spitalfields area. The day ended with a critique session of everyone’s photos which was less scary and more positive than it sounds! Thoroughly recommend!

We booked a last minute beginners 1-2-2 tuition with PCL. They are extremely efficient and were able to offer us times in the evening that suited our schedule. Our tutor was Liane and she is excellent, patient and fun. We just bought a digital camera having used phone cameras for 10+ years. Liane taught us so much in two hours. She had already looked up the manual for the make and model of our camera so we could maximise our time with her. We now feel confident to be able to take great photos whilst away on safari. I highly recommend PCL.

I have just completed a three week, Photoshop Foundation - Level 2 evening class at PCL and had a fantastic experience. Our course leader Meikel had incredible knowledge and was able to adapt this for individual need. I am delivering an NCFE Photography qualification, that relies hevily on photoshop, in an SEND school and Meikel helped me visualise realise ways of teaching this complicated software to students with a range of needs.

Over the three weeks we covered lots of interesting techniques and were able to draw on prior leaning to see how Photoshop can be used for a range of effects. I would thoroughly recommend this course for any photography enthusiast and especially for arts educators. It makes for an challenging and creative CPD opportunity for any photography or media teacher.

I would highly recommend the Intense Foundation DSLR course. Everything I had been struggling with prior to this course, was made clear to me in a very practical, easy to understand way . Mikael is a very good, personable tutor. Following the course I am much more confident when using my camera and keen to learn more

10/10 Experience on the Retoucher Pro Course, Mikael our instructor is a legend and photoshop master. Most in depth and informative course I have done hands down, don't think twice about booking just do it. Worth every penny.

Brilliant day course, great teacher, learnt all the basics on how to get out and start using my SLR as it should be, rather then fumbling around with it!

Level 1 course was tought by Mikael. He’s been such a patient and fun teacher, an amazing host and I’ll definitely be back for other amazing courses! Thank you PHL!

I took the beginner course, and had minimal camera skills to start with. The instructor was really patient and took us through all the basic details of the camera explaining the different setting. I walked away having learnt so much, and ready to start using my camera properly. I really liked the structure of the day, which was a combination of classroom and outdoor activities. I will definitely be booking onto the second course.

The teacher was very good at explaining, and he spoke slow enough for us to write things down without falling behind. I left feeling educated and excited to use my camera !

I did the level 1 intense course and it was very good. I had Mikael as a teacher and he shared a lot of useful information and had some practical experience as well.

I’m giving Mikael and all at Photography Course London 5 stars. I started my Diploma before the pandemic, I am a slow learner. Mikael has allowed me to take my time, sitting the same classes over again in order for me to get what I need out of the course. They are a flexible and supportive team and I personally love going to the classes. My photography skills have improved so much and I understand so much more. I never thought I would be able to make sense of it all but I am and it feels great, a real achievement for me who has always struggled learning new things. Thanks Mikael x
