I have suffered with an ankle problem and severe plantar fasciitis where I have had problems walking.
After having acupuncture and physio from Venkat I can now walk without pain again. Thank you Venkat.

A massive thank you to Jordan who has done such a fantastic job of sorting out my hip...in 6 sessions I'm back riding my bike,walking and exercising ..he has done wonders!!!! And he really listens to you. I'm very pleased and would really recommend him.

Many thanks to Venkat who helped me through my knee problems, both before and after surgery. With his expertise, I was able to confidently recover from left knee replacement quickly.

My recent experience of Hythe Physiologic put in the hands of Emma. I would like to express my gratitude for the work and advice she provided on my hip and calf pain. Use of her techniques has returned me, aged 78, to full fitness for the first time in many months. I particularly admire the way Emma focuses on root cause rather than just symptoms. I’ve also had osteoarthritis treated with total success in a finger joint by Nuno. Good people = good outcomes, IMO.

My shoulder had completely locked up and was causing me a great deal of pain. Following an unsuccessful steroid injection by the GP, and ongoing physiotherapy, Nuno Teixeira was recommended to me. He was brilliant! He was caring and empathetic, explained everything really clearly and provided the best treatment possible.
My case was complicated, and the diagnosis from the consultant and MRI was not definitive, but Nuno invested time to review my case with other professionals, challenged the inputs and steered towards the right course of action to help me.
An ultrasound guided steroid injection was administered with care and precision, and within 2 days I was feeling the benefit.
Nuno's expertise and communication skills were excellent, he was friendly and reassuring, I felt comfortable and supported throughout. It could not have been better.

I had a very speedy referral from GP and was seen by Venkat for a course of treatment. I can now say that the pain, that kept me awake, has eased considerably. The centre runs efficiently and is a welcoming place.

I started visiting Emma shortly after a full knee replacement & at first I was a little reticent to try painful exercises, I was quite content with easy ones recommended by my hospital. She listened carefully & instructed me with carefully designed exercises over a four month period and really hastened my recovery.
I can’t praise her enough for her skills in acupuncture and physiotherapy

The whole experience of going to physiologic in hythe is wonderful.
You are greeted by a friendly smile and very helpful receptionist who is calm and professional and directs to the waiting area until your physiotherapist comes to collect you .

I have been under the excellent care of Venkat Devaraya,well I believe he has healing hands he is gentle and explanatory about what he is going to do.
He asks questions about how you have been and he takes time to listen.
He is a true professional and knows exactly what he is doing and going to do .
Venkat I cannot thank you enough,I have acupuncture and I am needle phobic but he was so calm I was totally relaxed and felt so much better.

Really great experience with Jordan and the Physiologic Team. Not only was the treatment beneficial, but the communication with my GP ensured further referrals were made leading to additional needs being met.

I have a torn tendon in my ankle and was referred to Physiologic. Venkat was professional and knowledgeable and made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I was given acupuncture and exercises to do. Both helped reduce the discomfort. The clinic environment is very clean and friendly. I am hoping that with the continuation of the exercises my ankle will fully heal. Thank you Venkat.

I attended Physiologic due to an accident I had at work.
My fingers had been trapped in a Minibus door resulting in crush damage & nail removal to two of my fingers. I had muscle & nerve ending issues too.
Physically & mentally I was not in a good way, but after my first visit, meeting Venkat Devaraya at Physiologic he gave me hope of a great outcome. Venkat was my hero. He is kind, understanding, knowledgeable & always smiling. After 6 months, I can now go back to my first love of playing my guitar/ukulele in my band all thanks to Venkat & Physiologic. I could not rate them highly enough.

Emma is excellent. She is super knowledgable and always spends time listening and understanding my issues. She demonstrates the exercises so I know exactly what to do, and I fully understand why I am doing them & what muscles they are targeting. I would highly recommend her.

Venkat Devaraya has the most amazing powers when doing Physio and Acupuncture

I first went to seek help when I developed Arthritis and was told by my GP that there was “no cure for Arthritis and I could take medication to mask the pain”.

I started asking for regular referrals from my GP to Venkat Devaraya for Physio and Acupuncture.
Under Venkat’s instructions I stopped taking Naproxen altogether as his Physio and Acupuncture dealt with my pain and after an hour’s treatment along with the Acupuncture I truly felt pain free

I was having regular monthly Physio and Acupuncture from Venkat on a free basis as my GP gave the referrals and said to me “it’s more beneficial to have free treatment which obviously coming from someone like Venkat Devaraya makes a difference to the patient, rather than the NHS paying out for prescriptions and operations”

Venkat is inspirational as he puts his whole heart into giving treatment and patients feel so much better afterwards

In the past I have given 5 stars to physiologic and had amazing results with shockwaves treatment, however I can honestly say if this had been my first referral to physiologic i would never have gone back. I hope things improve going forward as currently really worried as need to be out of pain not in more.

I feel really let down I was referred for heels (heel spurs and in agony) and pain in arm.
My first appointment was for my heels with Jordan I was given excercises to do and was told i needed specific footwear to help, which he offered to get some for me to try via the place he works on certain days (podplus) when i explained i have no transport to get to podplus. So I appreciated that big time.
My second appointment for my heels was attached to my first appointment for my elbow. 10minutes late and an apology (which was fine), however the heel appointment was wasted trying on 3 pairs of trainers nothing else was done, he arranged for more to be left at physiologic for my next appointment and this was confirmed by another worker at podplus. (Unfortunately this didn't happen)
For my elbow I got excercises and I was told -to have shockwaves it's important to get appointments in place as they have to be ideally 7 days apart up to 14 days. I said I need morning appointments so he looked on the calendar and said he will do it today (felt good and lasted around 2 weeks before signs of pain came back) and booked the other 2 appointments with Jose (fine i thought)The appointment ended 10minutes early (so i feel i lost out on 20minutes,as also 10minutes late), when we got to reception we were told Jose doesn't do shockwaves so I had to get booked in with someone else, I wasn't happy that the first appointment was almost 3 weeks after my first shockwaves appointment (so much for 7 to 14days), the following appointment just 6 days after that. These were booked in for Charles.
I wasn't impressed and said I will go on the cancellation list to try and get seen sooner, but got no call.
I emailed as well, but just got told of afternoon appointments, when i had stressed before having shockwaves that it had to be morning or i wouldnt have shockwaves started.
So nearly 3 weeks after my first shockwaves i arrived early for this appointment in the hope of trying on the footwear before it, but they knew nothing about them. Jordan was contacted by a helpful member of staff (5 stars) only to be told he didn't know my size???? I have a photo of shoes he bought in for me previously in a physiologic room so I was angry as he definitely knew my size and i had a message from his college on my phone saying he had picked more shoes up for me on 10march for me to try on this week, why lie?? I then showed them them the message, so they contact him again. I have since asked for a list of certain footwear that is good for my problem so I can order online, but so far heard nothing back.
I also never was given another appointment for my heels so I had to phone up and chase for one. I had asked Jordan previously if arm and heel appointments could be in one as I have no car and it would cut out a lot of travel and he said yes of course.So when I was given a few possible appointment times I chose the one where I could have them together.
I feel totally let down as I am desperate for the right footwear to help with the pain, and i am not much better off over a month later.
My first appointment with Charles was informative and I had 2nd lot of shockwaves, however it was very painful and he does it different to others, i never normally feel pain but he goes on pain levels , it started very low then i ended up on 9 then 10, a week later I am still bruised, and rather than pain being on outer elbow and bicep I now have pain in outer and inner elbow, more pain in bicep and now pain in shoulder too, as well as sensations down arm to hand a bit like sciatica and stiffness in hand now and then. I feel I am losing mobility in arm and losing sleep as painful in bed too, I can't even pull up my quilt without pain.
I am really concerned, and overall at the moment I can only give 1 star, which is not what I expected of physiologic

Had knee isues and was assigned to a katie starling, an incredible and thoughtful young lady. I was petrified of having the acupuncture but due to her complete professionalism and caring ways I managed it.

Emma was absolutely brilliant at helping me sort my knee problems from running - she found the issues that no one else could and then also helped me to fix them!! I’m extremely grateful. Also she’s just a genuine joy so made the appointments a warm friendly environment to feel safe in :)

Great treatment and really professional approach.

I was referred by my GP for 4 monthly sessions for hip pain with Venkat Devaraya. A personal exercise programme, acupuncture and manipulation has resulted in no pain within 4 months. Brilliant.
