Martin was polite, communicated well, and explained everything clearly throughout the whole process. He offered helpful advice before, during and after the survey. He has a very positive work ethic, took the time to explain what he was doing and answered any questions that arose, whilst being very thorough in his work. I appreciated that he left everything as he found it - very respectful and professional. The report he produced was well presented and full of very useful information. It clearly highlighted exactly what work needs doing to my property and the timescale within which each job should be done. Highly recommended!

We enlisted Plandwell to carry out a survey of our potential home purchase. They were able to swiftly organise a survey within a few days of our request. The survey itself was detailed and offered high quality images (captured by a drone) to illustrate their findings. The report was extremely thorough and the surveyor had clearly spent a considerable amount of time in the property and speaking to the vendor. All communication with Plandwell was helpful and clear. They organised the survey with the respective estate agents and vendor, relieving us of the time to negotiate a survey date. We really valued the extra time they spent following the report answering our questions, and in this respect particularly, we felt they went above and beyond. They clearly have many years of experience, which came over during all of our dealings with them. We felt able to have great confidence in their report and feel we now have a very comprehensive survey of the whole property.

He arranged the viewing quickly and got the report over to us promptly. His report highlighted in great thoroughness both visible and hidden issues that we would not have known about otherwise.

We have used Martin now for two different types of survey and for both of them he was quick to respond, carried out a detailed report but presented it in a way I could understand. I felt his prices were fair for the service I received and no doubt using Martins services in the future.

Our Property Condition Report was thorough and clearly laid out and the Appendix with photographs helped me to understand all of the points made, especially where the language was more technical.

Martin was flexible in his timings, came out quickly when we were ready, managed the expectations of the seller by flagging points he was going to include to them in advance and provided his report promptly.

We had a helpful call to go through the report to understand the key points and Martin was happy for the report to be provided to the seller in the interest of transparency.

We recently had Plandwell carry out a survey of a property we’re about to purchase, and Martin Cheeseman was fabulous. In less than 48 hours, he arranged with the current owners for a visit and had a survey completed and sent over to us in a week. The survey itself was incredibly thorough with a clear list of all “need-to-dos” upon moving in and the price was extremely competitive. As first time buyers he really put us at ease and I couldn’t recommend him more. 10/10

Martin was extremely professional from start to finish. He booked in the survey appointment quickly and once the survey was completed, he produced the report within 3 working days.

His survey was thorough and very clear. I have never bought a house before and so Martin was very kind and helpful to explain over the phone what certain things meant.

His valuation of the house was very helpful and we actually used this as evidence to the vendor that the house was overpriced due to the work needed. This evidence enabled the vendor to reduce the price for us.
