I didn’t love this trip. The snorkeling was ok at best. Not great visibility or diversity of undersea life. The guides on Sea Serpent did nothing to promote safety or point out sea life. They just seemed to be there to hold a life preserver if anyone needed it. At one point the boat started to pull away when two snorkelers were still in the water.

Our Egypt Red Sea snorkeling trip was amazing! The resort before we boarded the sea serpent was great. It had wonderful reefs to snorkel. We had a delicious group dinner the night before we boarded. Transferring onto the boat was seamless. Every detail was covered! The crew was so helpful and the food....oh gracious! It was amazing. ON A BOAT! Certainly didn't expect that. 3 meals a day and a wonderful snack bar each afternoon. The snorkeling.....we went to many sights. A few coral reefs were sadly dying but there was no lack of fish everywhere! Every color of the rainbow! I felt safe too as we snorkeled, as there were guides in the water and a zodiac boat that stayed close by if someone needed help or wished to go back early. Moving from one snorkel site to another was challenging at times because of the current, but the crew had motion sickness meds and first aid if needed. I felt well cared for and the fish and coral were just amazing.

Fabulous snorkel only live aboard in Egypt. The trip was well thought through and planned by Guillaume with opportunities to snorkel up to four times a day and experience magical encounters with Dugong, dolphins and an abundance of other marine life and coral. We had great fun getting to know other guests on board and there was lots of fun and laughter. The crew and snorkel guides were brilliant and we were very well looked after. Big thanks Guillaume, we look forward to the next trip 🐠

The trip was very well organised from start to finish. Guillaume's attention to detail was excellent and the snorkeling locations and experiences we experienced have left us with many wonderful memories we'll treasure forever more!

Since this was first liveaboard snorkeling trip, I was a bit nervous about it at first, but our tour leader Guillaume from Planet Snorkeling and the wonderful cure on Sea Serpent excellence went above and beyond to make me feel safe, comfortable, and welcome! The various reefs we snorkeled on in the Red Sea were simply breathtaking and I saw many species of fish, corals, and other marine life i’ve seen nowhere else (and i’ve been snorkeling & scuba diving in places all over the world for over 45 years now. The food aboard the boat was delicious and plentiful and my cabin was perfectly cool and comfortable and that’s definitely a plus in a hot climate!!! All and all…it was a magnificent trip and i’d recommend it to anyone that loves to snorkel!!!

The most wonderful holiday snorkelling with dolphins, turtles and the Red Sea fish, visiting a sandy island a trip of a life time too. The food on the boat was excellent and it was a lovely boat. A brilliant holiday. Would definitely recommend.

We discovered Planet Snorkeling Expeditions a couple of years ago and so far have been on four trips with them. Next year will be number five. That should say something.
The website is informative, the booking process is simple and the fee-structure is transparent. The write ups have been very accurate both in terms of the snorkeling trips you will go on during your stay and the accommodation you will stay in. The choice of locations has been superb and selected with great care and attention to detail. The guides provided by Planet Snorkeling as well as the in-country guides have been nothing short of top-notch with an incredible depth of knowledge and a true affinity for marine life. The groups are an ideal size: not too big, not too small and made up of people who come from all over the world to take part.
For anyone from those who may be new to snorkeling to seasoned veterans, Planet Snorkeling will, consistently, provide you with truly memorable snorkeling experiences.

We love Planet Snorkeling because they do snorkeling trips so well. Their selection of snorkeling resorts, organization of trips including pre and post itinerary were all great. The cost was very reasonable. Guillaume was wonderful. He took care of everyone, was respectful, responsible and most of all, a snorkeling enthusiast. Guillaume takes great photos underwater and I love that he shares the photos with the fish's name. he was a joy to be with. We went to Wakatobi, Galapagos, Belize and Misool with them and were very happy each time. We look forward to another trip soon!

A fabulous time spent exploring the beautiful Rajah Ampat with Planet Snorkeling Expeditions. Our tour leader made the whole experience stress free, from start to finish.  Papua Explorers was a great place to stay with friendly staff, delicious food and great accommodation. The snorkeling was next level - clear warm water, teeming with fish and brightly colored corals. Highly recommend!

We have been on 3 different Planet Snorkeling trips, Galapagos, Komodo, and Misool. These small group trips were exceptional, well-planned and coordinated, with comfortable accomodations, delicious food choices that accommodated everyone, even being vegan. The snorkeling was always amazing and even epic when unscheduled stops were made to swim with schools of dolphins, mantas, etc. The crews were excellent at knowing the special local spots, getting you safely in and out, and educating you of what you were about to do. Planet Snorkelling offers me great snorkelling experiences with other enthusiasts in the best locations worldwide. The organisation of trips has always been spot on, and Guillaume leads tours in a splendidly personal and enthusiastic way. There has always been a great vibe on all the tours I have done, and many clients, like me, return. I am a solo traveller (my wife hates water!) for up to six weeks twice a year, and often book extra trips or accommodation on my own, so it is great to have a portion of my holiday with other similar enthusiasts. The trips are always relaxed and uncompetitive, with each person or couple approaching snorkelling in the way they enjoy. The trips are a bit of a treat to myself, and I’ve never been disappointed.

I’ve traveled with Planet Snorkeling from their first inaugural trip to Wakatobi to this past April’s Raja Ampat trip. They offer great value for the money and have made trips possible for me that I could not afford as a solo snorkeler. I’ve always felt very safe and met wonderful new friends. I found Guillaume to be both a professional who can handle challenges that come up as well as keeping childlike sense of wonder as he guides the snorkel tours. I’ve Already booked my next Planet Snorkeling tour for 2027! I can’t wait!

The experiences we had exceeded our expectations and the social and accommodation aspects were so fulfilling! our only regret is that we can’t come back in a couple months because it is so far from home! This really was the experience of a lifetime. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from arrival to departure and everything in between. The resort was gorgeous, the reefs were spectacular, and the guides and boat crews were excellent. Truly a snorkel lover's dream. Guillermo was kind, organized, competent, and attentive. Planet Snorkeling and Guillaume are second to no one when it come to planning and executing a fabulous snorkeling adventure.
