We love hearing stories like this. One of the reasons participants don’t need an email address is exactly what you’ve highlighted - people can join in the fun without creating accounts, remembering passwords, or being bombarded with emails afterwards.

First of all, we’re really pleased you found playdrawr easy to set up and useful for following the tournament. That’s exactly what we set out to build.

On the team allocation, you’re absolutely right. With 48 teams and 4 participants, everyone should have received 12 teams. We’ve investigated this and found a bug that could occasionally cause an uneven allocation. A fix is already in place, but apologies that it affected your sweepstake.

The result predictions are stored and scored behind the scenes, but we’ve clearly not made them visible enough if you couldn’t find them. That’s something we’ll be improving.

As for the newsfeed, guilty as charged. The newsfeed is one of our newer features and we’ve spotted a few gremlins ourselves with goal events and participant reactions. We’ve been working through those as the tournament gets underway and your examples are genuinely helpful.

We built playdrawr to make sweepstakes more fun, so constructive feedback like this is invaluable. Thanks for sticking with us, and thanks for helping us make it better. ⚽🏆

This one genuinely made us smile. playdrawr was built for exactly this reason — helping people run a sweepstake without needing to be an expert organiser, a spreadsheet wizard, or the unlucky volunteer who gets stuck managing it all.

The fact that family members who weren’t interested at first are now looking forward to the matches is probably the biggest compliment we could receive. That’s the magic of a good sweepstake.

We started playdrawr because we were fed up with spreadsheets, missing payments, and someone having to play tournament organiser for eight weeks. Hearing that you've enjoyed the layout, personalisation, and overall experience tells us we're on the right track.

We're especially pleased our support team could get things sorted quickly. When you're running a sweepstake, the last thing you need is waiting around for answers while everyone is asking who drew Brazil.
