My experience with PMI was very positive. The PMP application steps were clearly explained, and the instructions made the process straightforward. I appreciated how the platform guided me through each requirement without confusion. The review and approval timeline was reasonable, and communication was consistent. Overall, PMI is doing a great job maintaining a professional and organized certification process.

The application was smooth, Exam had relatable case studies.

It was a fast and efficient process with very clear guidelines.

Useful coverage of the professional knowledge area. The course content for the test took me through a vast area of project management and broadened my understanding of the subject matter

I've been a member of PMI for several years and have a PMP certification. My past experience of PMI has been positive until recently. The PMI website is impossible to use. Membership fees are separate from certification fees, and this is easy to miss. I got *one* email notification that my PMP was suspended for lack of payment even though my membership was current through early next year. When I logged in, my 'cart' was already set up to take an additional payment. This has not happened before. The chat support was patronizing and difficult.

This is not an easy exam. One must prepare well to pass the exam. The guide covers many tools and templates and you have to decide which ones to apply based on nature of the project and your experience in project management. Overall, I found the training very useful and I'm glad to achieve the designation.

If the PMP exam is the GOAT then PMI Study Hall is the training ground that gets you ready for the fight.

The questions were challenging, sometimes humbling, and occasionally made me question whether I had read English before—but that's exactly what made the real exam feel familiar. The mock exams and detailed explanations helped me build the PMP mindset, improve my time management, and gain confidence with every practice session.

Combined with the excellent training from EDUHUBSPOT, PMI Study Hall played a huge role in helping me pass on my first attempt with Above Target in all three domains.

Don't get discouraged by your practice scores. Learn from every question, trust the process, and keep going. Your future "AT/AT/AT" post might be closer than you think!

It was a very long road but well worth it. I took several free and paid courses to prepare for the test.I would suggest taking differnt courses so you can get the persective or different insrutors and how they approach project management.

I usually don't provide ratings and reviews because I think they can often be misused, especially negative ones, but I think it's important to share my experience. I was privileged to have my course and exam paid for by my employer, so I'm fine with the outcome, but if I had paid for it with my own money, I would not have been happy.

I don't feel that the course I took [through a PMI Premier Authorized Training Partner] was taught in a way that helped me learn the material I would be tested on. I understand that the course provider cannot know for certain what material will be on the exam, but in my experience, there was a lot of time taken covering content in the PMI training materials that never appeared on the test. I think it could be valuable for PMI to note in the PMBok Guide what content is provided for practical application, e.g. equations that won't be tested on but will be helpful when applied to a real-world project, vs what is material that an applicant needs to know for the exam.

Additionally, so much of the PMP mindset is about managing interpersonal communication and collaboration. I found it surprising that the same approach was not mirrored in the *teaching* of the material, i.e. PMI could encourage/require that Premier Authorized Training Partners assess the learning and communications styles of the students registered in order to tailor the course to meet their specific needs, in the same way that PMI advocates for PMs to tailor learning and communication within the projects they manage.

In my experience, the PMP application and exam seemed to be a lot more about *how* to write your application and *how* to interpret and answer the exam questions, than about the material itself. I had friends/colleagues that took the same PMI course as me, that studied much harder than I, that did not pass, while I did. The experience of knowing less of the material but passing, while my colleague didn't, left me feeling somewhat disillusioned with the course and the certification.

Ultimately, I'm glad I participated in the course and exam because it was free for me, but I would not have been satisfied with the experience if I had to pay for it myself.
To end on a more positive note, I do greatly appreciate that PMI provides many materials and resources for the practical application of the PMP strategies and techniques, e.g. templates for many artifacts and processes, which I imagine may be very valuable for some candidates and practitioners. I'm open to the possibility that the being a credentialed PMP moving forward may provide enough value and worth to offset the disappointment in the training and exam experience.

My experience obtaining my PMP certification was largely positive. The preparatory course I took was lengthy, but it was also very informative and valuable. The first time I applied for the exam, the process was straightforward; however, life circumstances got in the way, and I was unable to take the exam as planned.
The second application took a bit longer to be approved, even though I met all the requirements. Preparing for the exam required a significant time commitment, and I was constantly concerned about whether I would pass.
I am extremely happy to have finally earned my PMP certification. The journey took longer than I initially expected, but I believe that achievements that require more effort and perseverance are often the most rewarding. Looking back, the challenges made the accomplishment even more meaningful and satisfying.

I feel like they screen candidates well and their certifications are highly relevant. I very much liked Prepcast as well.

Major problem I had was a lot of additional study materials were "Add-ons" and they would have been very helpful if they were not expensive.

My experience with taking and passing my PMP exam went very smoothly. The instructions were very clear, the approval process was quick, and the exam was structured in a very organized way. I passed on my first try and I am very excited to apply all the knowledge that I acquired as a result of my studies. :)

Received timely support with the application, payment and exam booking.
Chat bot was helpful; a live chat could be offered sooner.

The proctor experience was good but the exam itself was overwhelmingly difficult. I wish the exam focused on which answer is "correct" versus "best."

I found the overall experience great. The instructions and expectations were clear. I made use of the Study Hall package, which was an invaluable resource in preparing for my exam.

It was really intense experience with a lot of knowledge capture at once from multiple resources, but PMI helped with its study hall, exam preparation and practice exams to strengthen my knowledge and alignment to become PMP certified.

The examination was conducted seamlessly with little or no distractions. The fact that reasonable accommodations were made via break out times in between the test was also commendable.

Test was challenging/many repetitive concepts, but made it no less tough/daunting (just as I thought it would be.) All 180 question prompts required focus. Testing center ran well.
