I visited the gorgeous Monte Da Poupa villa in the Algarve a few weeks ago with my family, and haven’t stopped thinking about how brilliant our holiday was! Exceptional customer service and care from Premier Villas. A holiday we will never forget.

So far, we’ve received quick and helpful responses to all our messages and queries, along with a beautifully presented holiday pack. The accommodation offers outstanding value for money, and this is our second time booking with Premier Villas. Highly recommended — 5 stars!

I recently stayed at Quinta Sanzara Villa in Lagos, Portugal. The villa had the potential to be incredible. Unfortunately, it is managed by the aging villa owner and his very young Thai partner. They have not got the villa up to rental standard and frankly lie about the facilities at the villa. When these basic issues were raised they just told us to leave the villa. Simon Jennings of Premier Villas ensured that we were not made 'homeless' on holiday and that we could continue to stay there. Other than that, he has done nothing to compensate us for the myriad of issues we put up with. He just do not care. Do not touch this company or villa with a barge pole.

Quinta Sanzara Villa was advertised as a platinum villa on their website. The mind boggles why, despite us challenging them about this on return from our stay. Since our return and a month of battling with Simon Jennings (Director of Premier Villas). It now looks like this property has been withdrawn from their website.

This goes to show that Simon himself knew how bad this villa was and since speaking to him this week the above has occurred. However, Simon is still to phone any of our party and refund all or some of the £12,000 it cost us. They are clearly a company where only money matters to them. I wouldn't recommend anyone using this company because customer service does not matter or exist. We will continue our fight.

We booked a Villa with Premier Villas in Portugal. It is interesting to read other 1 star reviews and the lack of financial compensation from Simon Jennings. Our villa was advertised as 6 bedrooms and only had 5 on arrival. The jacuzzi was broken all 12 days of our stay. There was dog poo left around the grounds that they claimed were wild boar. The villa was not clean and even worse had condoms left lying around. Simon was communicating whilst we were at the villa to help but as soon as we returned, he made a pitiful offer and has since refused to engage. What is worse, is that we filed for a Section 75 to get compensation and the bank returned it as we did not book through the owner which you can't do. Simon has denied that this is a loop hole in the company preventing acceptable compensation and yet they advertise that the Consumer Law protects you. What is worse, is that premier Villas does not appear on Companies House and Simon resigned in 2012? Simon is director of Horizon Holidays and 2 others. Its all very suspect. Also what is interesting is there is no active social media on Premier Villas to leave reviews and warn others. On a final note, for the last few days of the holiday, there was an overpowering smell of drains and sewage. When we ask the owner about this, he replied he knew it was a problem as there were trees in the sewage pipes. This could not and was not resolved. And on the last day, the water pump broke and the water was not cooling and one of us got burnt by the kitchen tap water.

A fantastic stay. Rooms were very clean. The weather was perfect. The pool was lovely and we had an altogether brilliant time. Golf courses are close and so is the beach. There were some really good beach bars. Would thoroughly recommended.

Very friendly staff and great service.
The villa we stayed in was great and staff were very good at helping us with recommendations for restaurants etc and also went out of their way to sort out some problems we encountered locally.

Great company, villa pictures and descriptions were spot on and accurate any questions we had were quickly answered the location agents have been great we have used this company on numerous trips and would highly recommend them

Great care was taken by Helen with all the details like tricky transfers. The manager contacted even before leaving to ensure similar. Good but not intrusive management while we were there...daily pool clean and fresh drinking water were standouts. Will definitely be returning!

Villa Plus were amazing, well organised and very caring and approachable as were the local reps in Portugal who saw to any issues immediately. Special thanks to Helen in the UK and Lanvin in Portugal. Villa was beautiful, you need a car or to use taxis which are very cheap. The cleanet came in halfway through which was a lovely surprise. The WiFi was a bit wobbly when watching tv, not that we did that much and the su beds need replacing and more of them if you are a bigger party. The pool could do with steps in the shallow end as not everyone likes to enter/exit via the very deep end, that stopped older travellers going in. One of the en-suite bedrooms wasn’t set up well for hairdrying as there was no mirror or tall enough furniture to put your own on near a plug point so we moved stuff around a bit but I can see the owners have thought of nearly everything and we are very grateful for our stay. Very safe area. You can walk to a supermarket and one local bar/restaurant.

We were a group of 8 at the Quinta Kilara in Praia da Luz. The villa was superb and all the arrangements faultless.

Had a really excellent stay at Villa Evora in Quinta do Lago.
The location was great for a relaxing quiet holiday. Communication with the company before the trip was first rate.
Can highly recommend Premier Villas

We stayed as a group hiring what we thought was the whole complex as pictured (it wasn't) in the Casa Colinas apartments in Portugal. While the apartments were nice, they were outdated and had limited utensils and plates/cups. For example four stayed in the apartment and we had 4 plates, 4 knives, 4 forks, 4 spoons etc, which, with a dishwasher (only one washing tablet) we never actually used it cause we had to hand was everything after each use and was a faff.

There was also lots of little things not working like outdoor heaters, pool lights, pool fountains, one of the communal tumble dryers, the kettle in our apartment, and no covered outdoor communal area to sit so all combined to make it feel, well, cheap, especially contrasted by how much it cost!

It was OK, but overpriced, there are much better places in the area. Also, with owner Simon's track record of response time and customer care whilst and after stays (read other reviews on here) not worth the risk for your holiday.

We had the most amazing time at Villa Khimki on the Algarve. Helen and the staff at Premier Villas went above and beyond to make our holiday perfect. I would definitely recommend them and will certainly use them again in the future.

We hired the entire Case Colinas( also known as The Monte Crist o collection) for 14 of us,age range from late twenties to early seventies) The underwater lights and pool cascades didn't work. Neither did the outside kitchen space heaters.The rep lied and blamed it on the storm which occurred the day after we arrived.We had tested them before the storm and had also spoken to the Gardner and the pool chap who informed us that they hadn't worked in a while.There were lots of other small problems but the biggest for us was that we hadn't in fact hired the entire complex,the owners lived upstairs which we found disconcerting.The extended family were always wandering around so we had no privacy whatsoever.There was also lists in each apartment stating that if we made a noise between 10 pm and 8 am we could be evicted with no refunds.
We feel that Premier Villas are guilty of misrepresentation. We were led to believe we had hired the complex and nowhere did it state nor show the owners accommodation.Simon Jennings of P V has not even had the courtesy to acknowledge my emails.We will never use this company again.

Has a wonderful experience with Premier Villas and their team in booking a fantastic family holiday in Portugal in one of their top properties. Helen and the team were on top of all our needs, ensuring we had all the equipment we required for a baby on arrival, and making sure to have availability to check in should anything go wrong or be misplaced in the property.

Will definitely be looking to book through this firm again in the future

My wife and I just got back from a 9 day stay at a Vale do Lobo villa organised by Premier Villas....whom we have used before and whom we will use again. Logistics, paperwork and organisation were all first rate...I trust this organisation completely....they are a pleasure to deal with and I have no hesitation in recommending them to potential new customers.

Absolutely terrible.. once booked and money taken, the customer service and care was beyond shocking. The villa was not as described. Building works outside and we were not notified.
Property was Riddled with ants!
External Doors didn’t shut properly! We were Charged for extras.
No privacy the villa was on a main road but showed fencing around it. But the fencing was not tall enough, the public/ hotel passing could see everything.
Dirty sheets on the bed.
And during our stay not notified sending maintenance man to fix things when we were out.
No towels left and no cleans during our stay. When calling the numbers provided no answer!! Loads of other issues but to but to much to write …
On making the company aware on our return because no answer in resort they took 7 weeks to reply after 10 emails and the final email to say basically we were not telling the truth and they will do nothing , there was No sorry or an explanation. It was not a cheap holiday and our first family holiday. I am disgusted and disappointed and upset!! My opinion don’t bother booking after care is appalling.

It’s really annoying when Simon finally reply’s after it’s taken over a month to reply to the first email. Both myself and my father and son called the numbers given several times when arriving at the villa but no reply or for the rest of the week!!!
So how can we report something when no one answers ? Just to clarify We were all left hand towels that was the point 6 adults with 1 hand towel each? Then the day before leaving while out someone comes in and leaves us a pile of bath towels so they must of known we only had small towels? The pool towels on arrival was soaking wet and left outside on clothes dryer but it was raining for 3 days so they never dried properly.
The road works we should of been notified before arriving this was happening, to give us a choice ? The company should know this? These are things they are responsible for ?
The villa was riddled with ants , obviously they knew as left signs and ant spray but this isn’t a few this was ridiculous amount. The villa has no seals on the doors and don’t even close properly so obvious they are going to come in , the neighbours had no problems? Funny that!
Sheets was dirty on the upstairs beds.
As for the child’s bed I asked to hire one for my toddler we were told it would cost us additional £135 ? Really? So we brought our own pod. We asked for bedding for it to be told there would be a charge ?
Yet we hired a villa to sleep 8?
The list goes on but clearly from other reviews if there are problems Simon don’t care only if it’s good news!

Disgusting !!!

We just came back from a week at the Boa Pesca Villa in Praia da Luz, Portugal. The staff at Premier Villas did a fabulous job answering our questions prior to the rental. We loved the charm, views, and location of this gorgeous villa with its bougainvillea. We could easily walk to the beach, restaurants, and two grocery stores. Everything was perfect!

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in quinta da brisa through premier villas. From the moment we made contact with premier villas it all went smoothly- we even had to slightly change the booking 24hrs later which was done without an issue. Helen Ricci was especially good and answered numerous questions regarding hire cars (we just ubered), supermarkets, and area we were staying - she even got someone to do a shop for us for when we arrived and sent through information on caterers. She booked all 12 of us a transfers to and from the airport and they were excellent- so friendly, texted me to check if flight was on time which it wasn't (23hr delay) but I kept him posted and 2 drivers met us at the airport plus they had picked us up some water and snacks - fantastic service. The villa was perfect for us - it wasn't modern and had everything we could ever need including a pool table, ping pong, tennis court and 3 holes for golf. It was well priced in comparison to other properties we viewed and we loved the homely feel to it. We had a visit from the lady that manages it the day after we arrived to check all was OK, she even took all our rubbish as we didn't have a car and the bins were a short walk away - cleaners came in once to change towels and bedding and a gardener came twice weekly but was very mindful of us (cleaned pool early so kids weren't waiting long to use it). We made some great family memories here so thanks to everyone involved
