We were grateful to have him in charge of our move!

If I could give zero stars, I would, What a horrible nightmare this company has caused my family, Firstly, my daughter became very ill, and is now living with me. We contracted this company to move her small apartment from VA to NJ.
My family and I drove to VA on May 18 to prepare for the move the next day. The company was contracted to move her apartment the next day, and give us a 6 hour window. They never showed up the next day despite our numerous calls, so we had to drive back from VA to NJ and hire someone to be at the VA apartment another day in order to oversee the move. please be aware of someone who gave his name as Monte Montone. When we booked the move with him, he was extremely empathetic, and assured us that everything will be wrapped and packaged carefully, and that this would be all included in the package quoted to us at $1749.
On the day of the move, they told us that the price was now $3032. They stated that the price was increased due to wrapping, etc. (which we were told was all inclusive). When the furniture was delivered to NJ, they demanded a balance of $2032 in cash before they even unloaded the truck. When they were done, they disappeared without even letting us know that they were leaving. Unfortunately, we have not had the time to check the delivered items. so I'm
praying that everything was delivered securely. I asked for a discount due to their failure to show up on the day of delivery, and they claimed that they had given a $200 discount. We ended up spending $3032 instead of $1749 that was quoted to us. I will try to see what legal recourse we have.

Their website is user-friendly, and the online booking system made it a breeze to schedule our move.

They LIE and tell you whatever you need to hear to get the sale so your stuck. Massively under quotes the estimated cost. Straight up lies about their delivery capabilities and services. And are practically impossible to get ahold of. Here's just SOME of the issues I've had:
The salesman guaranteed delivery withing 4 to 7 days... it took 2 weeks and the.
The said that they would put my furniture back together upon arrival, another blatant lie.
Told me a delivery day (after that "guaranteed" timeline) and then just didn't show at all, no call, no text, nothing.
The 1 time I did get ahold of them the customer service agent was extremely rude and then didn't even send me the email that I asked for nor called me back.
Another lie I was told is that they are the movers themselves and it's all in-house. This is completely false.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The moving crew arrived right on time, and they were an absolute delight to work with.

**I am hoping to update this when they finally contact us and when we make the move if nothing to stolen or damaged** (only 2 stars not 1 because I am hoping they will resolve this!)

My husband and I are moving from Utah to Florida. We contacted this company and they seemed reliable and we wrote up our contract. Some things to note.

-we saw some negative reviews pop up about them arriving and up charging by thousands. Their box size is 1 x 1 x 1 feet. Not a typical moving box. So our original moving quote was 30 boxes which we have but it’s 30 small boxes. This would be 30 cubic feet. Our normal tubes you can buy at any store gets us to 120 cubic feet.
-we have tried to call multiple times to update our quote so they cannot charge us an insane difference. Each week they say someone will call and no one will. They originally said someone will call 3-5 days before the move. This way you are out of the 7 day out cancelation fee.
-we stated we have a large sectional couch and it was marked as a 3 seater couch so that will be an up charge.
-we were told we could get a full cash refund as long as we cancel before the 7 days out. They then said that isn’t true we can only get a credit to use with them

Everything this company told us was a complete lie . No customer service and they waited till the truck was loaded to change the price by 3000 dollars . We didn't get our stuff for 12 days and then some of our most important items are broken or missing . Bags were went through and much of our load was damaged . The sad part is they don't even care . If possible I would choose negative stars

Primeline Van Lines is NOT a moving company. They do not handle your move from start to finish. Sam (mgr) will low-ball your estimate and mislead you. Once you pay deposit, she is done with you. Then, you get the next guy who needs to make his money too. No customer support. Beware of the verbiage they use as your estimate continues to increase. No accountability for any misunderstandings along the way.
Although I had more items than I originally thought, the mover tried to charge me for cubit feet measurements that EXCEEDED the size of my storage unit, which wasn't even full!! Once everything was loaded I had no choice but to pay almost double my estimate, but also for empty, unused space above my items themselves. They said it was unusable, unsafe space but it still cost me. I had to forfeit many large items, including a custom-carved base to a table top they already loaded in front of truck. Now all my things have been sitting for over 9 days somewhere in LA and I have NO IDEA when, or if, my things are being delivered safely and intact! No one is available to call me or address my concerns. DO NOT USE PRIMELINE VAN LINES.

Our original estimate was $4526.32. This included 21 items of furniture: beds, dining table with chairs, sofa, bookcases etc. and 30 boxes. We were required to put down a deposit which we paid $2421.80 up front. When the movers arrived and were shown the items on the list that were needing to be loaded, the new estimate was another $7000-$9000 on top of the original $4626.32. I called the customer service number for Prime Van Lines and asked how there could be such an excessively large discrepancy in the estimate vs the actual rate. I didn’t really get any answers, only an apology that they didn’t estimate correctly. The space they allotted on the truck for all of the listed items was about ¼ of the trailer. In reality I would only be able to get 3-4 pieces of the furniture and about 10 small boxes in that space. I fully understood that the estimate was just that and knew that the price could go up even though I was assured multiple times that they typically overestimate by 3x to ensure there would be no large variation in price. In the end I had to make the decision to forfeit the deposit because I wasn’t going to pay double the agreed upon price for the move. The contracted movers (who were very patient and professional) stated that they often see this happen and warned me that the broker company would most likely try to call me and get more money. I received 2 follow up calls from Prime to try to convince me to allow the movers to return and complete the move at the exorbitant new price and invited me to call them back for any future needs. I will not be using or recommending this company.

Prime Line Van Lines is a terrible company! I booked a move with one of their salespeople. He said there wasn't a cancelation fee. I canceled 6 weeks before my move. They refuse to give me back my deposit of $900. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH A MULTI-STATE MOVE!!!

From the initial call to get an estimate, to moving supplies and packing to the final unpacking everything was handled with utmost care. Not a single scuff, crack or lost item-Moving down the street or across the country, I would choose them again and again!

SCAM - can only pay with bank account ACH. Recently put their DOT # up in 2024 but it looks like it's been revoked a number of times. The number on the DOT brings you to another scam moving company.

This company needs to be shut down immediately. Filed a report with the police. DO NOT USE

The work that Mike and his assistant did was excellent. Their response to our query was prompt, thorough and informative.

Stay away from this company. There sals reps will make you promises they cannot keep. Sales rep Joey specifically made a verbal agreement on a Sunday nite if this could be canceled and assured that I wouldn't be a problem. Go to cancel this and numbers blocked and he will not return calls. call the office and get a run around and told that they will not refund my deposit. Stay far away.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Everything delivered to me was basically damaged and SO MANY things were missing that I’ll never get money back for because the insurance only refunds you .60 for every pound of missing and damaged items, which does nothing to pay for high value small items. So infuriated with this horrible company. They also insisted on delivering my goods to me in the pouring rain, so everything was soaking wet. They also charged me almost $3k over the estimate.

Great services, they were very careful and kind and help us a lot.
