I purchased a 4-month membership with a so-called discount to get access to beach clubs. It turned out to be a complete scam. During the first month, access to beach clubs was available. But after that, most beach clubs changed their conditions, and access through Previlee became limited to weekdays only. On weekends, many beach clubs completely disabled bookings through the app.

Customer support solves nothing — they only reply with standard scripted responses to all my requests. What is the point of creating such a service if the company takes no responsibility towards its users? They collected the money and now just keep sending template replies to every email without resolving anything.

A complete waste of $900. I do not recommend it.

No Customer Service During the Regional Crisis / Privilee sells memberships at 1,199 AED per month. During the recent regional crisis, when every venue was shut and inaccessible, I requested a membership pause. It was refused. I asked for a manager to contact me and waited weeks with no response.
Airlines offered refunds. Hotels showed flexibility. Privilee did none of that.
If you are considering joining, know that when facilities close through no fault of your own, do not expect any goodwill or response from management.

I joined Privilee when it was positioned as a premium lifestyle membership with access to some of the best gyms, beach clubs, and wellness spaces in the UAE.

Unfortunately, the experience has changed significantly.

Many of the top-tier gyms that originally made the membership worthwhile are no longer included. What remains is a selection that, in many cases, can be accessed directly elsewhere at a similar or lower cost. This completely shifts the value proposition.

On top of that, even within the remaining gyms, access is often restricted. High-demand classes, such as reformer Pilates, are excluded for Privilee members, and there is a noticeable difference in how members are treated compared to direct-paying clients. That undermines the whole concept of a seamless premium experience.

Another concern is the handling of customer feedback. When members raise valid concerns in WhatsApp groups, discussions are shut down, or people are removed. This does not build trust. It does the opposite.

At its current price point, this no longer feels like value for money. Alternatives such as The Entertainer or simply joining gyms directly now offer comparable or better access without the same limitations.

This platform worked well when the partnerships and access matched the premium positioning. Right now, there is a clear gap between what is marketed and what is delivered.

I hope this is addressed quickly. Otherwise, it is difficult to justify renewing.

Very disappointing experience with Privilee towards the end of my membership.

Several key venues that were part of the value when I signed up — including Wild Wadi, Legoland Waterpark, Warehouse Gym, and Zabeel Saray — have been unavailable for a significant period. Despite this, there has been no compensation, extension, or meaningful solution offered.

Customer support responses are polite but feel very standard and repetitive, mainly suggesting “alternative venues.” The issue is that these alternatives do not provide the same value or variety as what was originally included.

As a customer, you sign up based on a certain offering, and when multiple key venues are removed, the overall value is clearly reduced. I would have expected a more customer-focused approach in handling this.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not renew.

Warehouse Gym is revoking their offer with Privilee which they are not disclosing. This makes Privilee offer overpriced and limited. I confronted them asking for refund, they only offered AED 5900 out of the 6900+ AED that I originally paid charging 1000 AED for me using them for couple of weeks. I don't recommend them at all.

I’ve been a loyal Privilee customer for years, and never in my life did I think I’d be treated with such cold indifference and lack of basic human empathy by a brand I once loved. Today, Privilee ruined my entire day and left me in tears — literally. I had a full breakdown because of how unfair, inflexible, and inconsiderate their updated policies are.

I reached out asking to cancel my membership at the end of the current billing month. Simple, right? Especially since I’ve done it before with no issue. But suddenly, I’m being told I either have to pay two more months or transfer my remaining membership — all because of a “commitment” that was never part of the agreement in the past.

What kind of “premium” service shows zero compassion to a loyal, returning customer who’s explaining they’re going through financial hardship after losing a job? I told them clearly that I’d be back once I’m in a better place — that this was a temporary pause in my life. But it didn’t matter. No flexibility. No understanding. No human decency.

And let’s talk about the pricing: it’s ridiculously inflated, and locking people into what feels like traps masked as contracts is not only shady, it’s unethical. Whoever restructured these terms needs to seriously rethink the entire customer experience because this new model is not only disappointing — it’s exploitative.

Privilee, if you’re reading this: you lost a loyal customer today. Not just because of your new “policies,” but because of your inhumane handling of someone who came to you honestly, openly, and with trust. I never imagined a wellness brand could leave me feeling so mentally drained, disrespected, and dismissed.

If you’re considering joining Privilee, be warned: the fine print has changed — and the people behind the app don’t seem to care what that means for real people with real lives.
