Everything from start to finish was carried out with ease.
From the first meeting on site with Vin to the appointment at P.R. King show room at the gold coast so mum could try the chair lift which she was very happy with. The install was carried out with everything fitting perfectly with Cameron and Louie doing a fantastic job as this stair lift travels up four flights of stairs and mum could not be happier.
This has changed mums life giving her back her independence.

We had a 31 metre inclinator installed about eight years ago,and has performed greatly ,now we are nearly 70 its been a great investment in our long existence here,PR KIng was the only business we trusted when searching for an installer ,and in working with them on the install and development it made for a perfect install of the final product , reading some reviews ,thing do go wrong ,but working things out and compromising and understanding makes for a perfect product considering how much work goes on behind the scenes to create an inclinator ,we thank you for the years and many years to come with our little toy

Vin in the showroom explained and demonstrated everything clearly which has resulted in an excellent chair lift on a difficult staircase.
The installer did a wonderful job and left no mess behind! He showed me how to use and it is so easy.

Louis who installed the stairlift was efficient and did a professional job. I enjoy using the stairlift. I can now enjoy my new home knowing that the stairlift gives me the independence I need to negotiate the stairway.

Chairlift made my life easy . I don't have to struggle to climb stairs

We recently had a Stannah 600 Sofia stairlift installed by P R King & Sons. While we were apprehensive in the beginning we can now say that the whole experience from initial consultations and showroom demonstrations by Vin to Mathew organizing the home installation to Louis who carried out the main installation assisted by Cameron, demonstrated a very high level of professionalism.
At all times they kept in mind the best interests of the client.
We cannot speak highly enough of the excellent work by the whole team we had contact with at P R King & Sons and accordingly would 100% recommend them to others.

All the staff have been very helpful and patient with all our questions, which included a trip to the display centre to actually try out the products.
My wife likes plenty of options, which they discussed at length until she was happy to make her final choices. Vin, the sales person, was helpful and informative and made sure we were happy with our purchase. So the whole experience was simple and enjoyable. The stairlift works as promised and has made my wife's life a lot easier, so I am pleased we bought this particular one from this company.

From initial discussions, through installation and even post-installation service responses have been excellent.

My experience with PR King & Sons has been extremely disappointing. Every time there is an issue with my lift, it takes them weeks to send a technician, despite lifts being an essential service that should have 24-hour support. Unfortunately, PR King & Sons only operates during business hours (Monday to Friday), and if you get stuck outside of these hours, their only advice is to call the fire brigade.

Their service fees are also excessive—charging a minimum of $450 per visit, even if the technician spends only five minutes on-site. I had my lift serviced in November, yet January, it had completely stopped working. It has now been out of service for over two months, leaving me without access to key areas of my home, including the kitchen, dining, living space, and balcony. I have an extremely rare Neuromuscular condition (Dynamin 2 Associated Centronuclear Myopathy) and rely on use of an electric wheelchair and ventilation via tracheostomy 24/7. My physical disability is considered very severe. PR King and Sons are aware of this. Despite repeated communication, PR King & Sons has failed to provide a timely resolution.

The Queensland State Manager has been particularly difficult to deal with. Instead of addressing my concerns, he has chosen to dismiss my feedback, demonstrating a complete lack of customer service skills. His approach has left me feeling taken advantage of and discriminated against. As a senior representative of the company, his handling of this situation has placed me, and likely other customers, in a highly vulnerable position.

I'm also of the opinion that Queensland State manager has full understanding that PR King and Sons is the only company in Queensland with a contract with Garaventa (the lift manufacturer). Meaning whilst he has suggested i contact another lift company, they're unable to help.

I strongly advise anyone considering installing a lift in their home to avoid PR King & Sons. The ongoing frustration, lack of urgency, and poor customer service make them an unreliable choice. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and reviews the Queensland State managers position or, at the very least, ensures he undergoes proper customer service training.

Installation was on time and performed in a very professional manner. We have not had a single problem with the installed unit. Price was very competitive. Highly recommended

Timing was of the essence and Michael was just amazing - professional and competent and went that extra yard to ensure delivery and installation in time for my husband’s release from hospital after a very serious illness. The installation team was very professional too - on time, no hassles and full explanation given for operation/troubleshooting. Highly recommended, and this was for an installation to a spiral stair which I had been told was “impossible” by many other companies.
A huge thank you - stairlift working perfectly.

We had a rep come to our house we were very impressed with him. We then went to the show room to try the different models. Because the chair we wanted need adapting we had to wait for parts to come in from England and it was holiday time so it took a while. But we had a loan chair installed and eventually our chair was installed. We cannot speak to highly of the staff from office to installers. We love our chair.
