I found this firm as I had a fairly niche situation. Peter & Kate couldn’t have been more understanding of the situation and went about the task in timely fashion. I have now done in excess of 10 deals and will return purely based on the service I got.

I honestly can’t recommend Propp enough. I used them to arrange finance for my first buy to let property and they completely exceeded my expectations. The whole process was smooth, stress free and handled so professionally. They found me a brilliant deal with low interest rates and helped me save a lot of money! The team were so friendly and knowledgeable and always on hand to answer any questions. I’m now using them again for my second property which says it all really. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Highly recommend!!!

I was advised to use Propp by L&C for a second charge as I had broken my leg and needed 12 months off work. I have a fairly small mortgage (LTV)
Took some time but finance was arranged. At the time one of the advisors told me to consider borrowing more which I declined as I didn't need it then.
Leg healed and I was back to work with no issues healthwise. Approached Propp again for some renovation works which would mean paying off the second charge in full and covering the works. I was advised this would be no problem as I had used them last year. I provided absolutely everyting requested as did my accountant, then repeat requests for the same information which made me concerned they'd forgotten what they'd asked for. I started to feel things were off and despite multiple attempts at communicating I was ignored sometimes for weeks at a time. FOUR months it took for them to say they could sort out the deal if I then paid the best part of £1,000 to have my house physically valued. At this point I cancelled the application to then be asked if they could find another deal for me as they thought the way I had been treated was poor too!! Avoid them.

I can’t say if the service we received thus far with Propp is down to the company as a whole or the individuals we’ve had the pleasure of being assigned to. Our contact Abby has been nothing but amazing, really going the extra mile to make sure that all options have been looked at before giving up when issues or discrepancies arise. We needed a parter to help us with borrowing on 3 properties, and it took us a while to settle on Propp, we tried other brokers but none have been as accommodating and helpful as these guys. Will definitely be our first port of call for any future borrowing. 👌🏻👌🏻🙏🏻

The mortgage company chosen by Propp made this a very painful experience, their solicitors delayed the process and when payment was finally released it took 48 hours to transfer so we missed our completion date which created a lot of problems. Propp were in regular communication but I felt they were defending the lender rather than representing me.

Unparalleled expertise in finance, good connection and get results quickly. Excellent administration, competent personnel with passion, experience and don't take no for an answer. My best experience in 50 years in dealing with hundreds of brokers, in the property sector.

Brad was very helpful and knowledgeable and always happy for me to ask questions. I would recommend, especially if like me you’re a novice in this area! I also found all the other members of the company I spoke to helpful and friendly.

I used Propp for a mortgage last year and initially had a good experience with the broker (Matt), so I decided to use them again. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly.
When applying for a bridging loan, I provided all the necessary information, but the broker misunderstood and passed incorrect details to the lender. The process took 6 months instead of 2, and when I raised concerns, I was simply told I could go elsewhere—knowing full well that would delay things further. Even after securing the loan, there were issues due to a lack of proper explanation from the broker.
Despite this, I gave Propp one last chance for a Buy to Let mortgage. Again, the urgency was ignored. I assumed the application had been submitted, but found out it hadn’t. I was then told on Friday it wouldn’t be done until after the weekend, and was again advised to try another broker if I wanted it faster knowing that would not be feasible.
The only positive was a staff member named Tev, who was genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, my overall experience with Propp was disorganised and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company.

I had a really disappointing experience. It took them over a couple of weeks to respond to simple emails, and even after I provided all the information he requested, I waited more than 10 days with no follow-up. If you're actually looking for answers or timely support, I’d advise against using this service. Got the mortgage application completed with NatWest from start to finish in less then a week.
