Scam Billing!! I was offered a 60% off discount to return and try Prose again. I placed my order for $76 for multiple products. Then I was notified by my bank that Prose has changed my order total... they reversed my $76 order, created a new order with new products for $224. After many emails I was completely refunded but they wouldn't allow 'subscription' to be cancelled. *That was added by Prose when they created the $224 order I was billed for. Scam Billing! Do not recommend!

I made the fatal error of going to the Prose website for information and took their little test.

I decided that based on Trust Pilot reviews and shampoo and conditioner costing almost $90, I would not buy their products.

Now ? I can't open my phone without being absolutely buried in Prose ads. Everything I open. Three or more ads in a row.

I've complained to them with zero response/help. They have literally taken over my phone.

Do yourself a favor and just...don't.

Where do I begin. I was excited to receive my order, but order was never processed. After a couple of months, I called and it was shipped immediately which makes me wonder if it is really specific to my needs. I feel they just put a label on the bottles. I didn't realize it was a subscription and received products way before I needed them. Finally, I tried to cancel and they still shipped product. I tried to dispute it but still got stuck with the charges. I was not impressed at all with the hair products (shampoo, conditioner, mask). They did not help the condition of my hair at all. As a matter of fact, it made it worse. I wouldn't mind continuing the product if I felt it helped or if I received a good customer service experience. I would definitely not recommend this company or product.

Dreimal geschrieben, einmal angerufen, niemand hat sich ernsthaft gekümmert. Meine Bestellung vom 14. März war falsch zusammengestellt, und statt einer Lösung bekam ich nur Copy-Paste-Antworten. Der Mitarbeiter namens Tobias hat einfach aufgelegt. SO geht man nicht mit Kunden um. Ich bin fassungslos und werde nie wieder bestellen.

Almost impossible to cancel a subscription. Can’t actually speak to an individual by phone. I wasn’t happy with the product, in hindsight I would not have ordered at all.

I am filing a complaint against Prose regarding deceptive subscription billing and cancellation practices. On [Date], I attempted to cancel my subscription and stop an upcoming order. However, my account was charged, and customer service refused to cancel the order, claiming that the items "had already shipped" or were already in processing.Prose uses restrictive processing timelines that make it impossible for consumers to cancel an auto-replenishment order before they are charged, creating a forced purchase loop. Because these products are made-to-order, the company uses their customization policy to deny consumer cancellation rights, even when notified immediately upon billing.

Smells good-that’s all, doesn’t do anything they say it would do AND it’s expensive!! Been using for almost 3 months and I DO NOT RECOMMEND for thinning, fine hair.

I had no idea my hair has curl! My hair was straight, fine & thin. Aging made my hair course & frizzy. Pros custom, to me, shampoo & conditioner has changed my life. I air dry with some hand scrunching, my hair looks like a perm. I blow dry to a nice full style. Feels thick full & healthy. A little goes a very long way for me. Thank you.

Le produit fonctionne réellement.Le négatif (Effet secondaire) : Attention si vous faites du laser ! Les suppléments ont stimulé toute ma pilosité corporelle (aisselles, maillot). Mes traitements de laser au coût de centaines de dollars sont complètement gâchés. Ce manque d'avertissement est déplorable.Le scandale logistique : Ma deuxième boîte est arrivée avec plus d'un mois et une semaine de retard, brisant toute la progression. J'avais annulé mon abonnement avant la réception, mais le service client refuse de me rembourser un produit livré hors délais. Je me retrouve forcée de consommer un produit reçu en retard qui fait repousser mes poils. Service client et livraison inacceptables pour une marque dite de luxe.

If you want to lose hair.... buy this product. Very disappointed. Will go back to salon shampoo. My hair also feels stringy. Shampoo and conditioner make hair feel dry. Even after they said moisture and less frizzies. So wrong. Then when I come out hair lose clumps of hair. Been using for a month now thinking I'd let the product have time. Nope awful. Avoid this product!!!!

Where do I start? Their advertising specifically addresses NOT USING ALCHOL, yet it is the 1st item listed in my conditioner. My shampoo had more sodium than the Atlantic Ocean! I counted at least 5 including a TRI Sodium component. What did this combination do to my hair? Made it feel like a Brick - Rough, Hard and Dry.The “curl cream” is ok, the oil smells great. Neither are worth $40 each. Sisters steer clear of this company. I requested to cancel my subscription (not due until August) even though they “reformulated” my shampoo and conditioner I’m never using either again. These are the worst products I’ve ever tried.
Too bad I can’t attach the ingredients of my “custom products” You’ve been warned.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have used their expensive products for well over 2 years. The last order I got broke me out so bad i had to seek medical attention. Which they asked me to copy and paste my doctor visit notes. Asked super personal questions. Didnt offer to help with anything. They had me jumping through hoops for two weeks before sending me a label to send my products back. I wanted replacements. They decided I was getting a refund. Not what I asked for. Do they care? No. Their customer service is ATROCIOUS. Cost me a doctors visit, prescription of antibiotics, time, make up, ect. I wanted replacements- now I'm only getting 60 bucks. And zero accountability. In the past, they've charged me when they weren't supposed to and that turns into a whole ordeal. They unsubscribed me and they resubscribed me at 1 month instead of 3. Its the only thing that works for my face and unfortunately, they have god awful customer service. No one listens. They do what they want. When they want. With ZERO accountability. At all. Products are great. Everything else SUCKS. Took well over a month to even get a refund... I'm STILL WAITING...

I couldn’t tell you if the product worked or not because I never received it. I have contacted them. They did contact me back to fix my address. I also canceled my subscription and double check to make sure it was canceled and they still are trying to take money out of my account. It took over a month for them to respond. Customer service is horrible.

Same as many other complaints. Signed up for an every three months subscription and then was charged for another round of products the following month (at a much higher price) barely a week after the first one showed up. Was given no time to review quality before being charged again and their website makes it purposely difficult to cancel and basically impossible to ask for a refund.
The products seem okay I love the packaging and smell but to be honest I haven’t had time to see how they even work for my hair before being grossly overcharged for products I didn’t order. Very annoying.

Products are terrible. The scent of the shampoo and conditioner was so strong I had to throw it out. The face serum and cream smelled like a dirty rag. I do not believe the ingredient list is what they say it is.

Subscription management is abysmal.

I was not happy with the products. I get better results from products I buy from the grocery store and pay a lot less for. After trying all the tips that I was given with no positive outcome, I reached out to Prose to get a refund, which I was told I would receive. I waited over two weeks and still did not receive a refund. I reached back out a week ago with no response…I feel like the company has ghosted me and I won’t be getting the refund I was promised. I would never recommend prose to anyone.

The shampoo and conditioner are light and easy to rinse out, but it did not fix frizzy gray hair or my dry scalp as it claimed it would.
The bottles are smaller than I am accustomed to. It was worth the introductory price, but not the subscription price.
I was unaware that I would not be notified before my next order was fulfilled. I was charged for my 2nd order within 2.5 weeks of receiving my first.
The second order arrived 6/5/26 so I went into the account to see about changing the delivery schedule and they were ready to bill my card again on 6/20/26.
They offered complimentary skin care samples and then I was automatically enrolled in that subscription plan as well.

Sent to the wrong address website was bugged

I completed the hair quiz and was matched with what was supposedly the best product line for my hair type, but unfortunately, it did not work for me. For reference, I have coily 4A hair.

There were a few things I liked, namely the shampoo and the overall packaging. However, the conditioner provided very little slip and did not help with detangling at all. I also requested a fragrance-free hair oil due to my allergies, but the oil I received was not fragrance-free as expected.

Overall, I was disappointed with the results, especially considering the price point. I've found hair products at my local grocery store that perform significantly better for a fraction of the cost.
