Sales visit was informative. Quote was good. Install day was initial hiccup, showed up without sufficient length of cable. Had to change the planned location (rooms) to accommodate the install. Error somewhere in their plan/drawing or reading this prior to showing up. Two internal units installed and one external. A year later, I was not happy with the calibre of the service agent. Did raise this and was promised a discount at the next service but this did not materialise either. Had lost confidence by then. A further year later, we had an extension and called them back to quote for a couple of additional units (as they had installed the original system) and they tried to sell me another external unit. Another company, clearly advised my existing external unit would support two additional units. Would not be able to recommend.

I initially contacted ProtoCool in mid-April for a quote for very low temperature domestic air conditioning for 2 rooms. Harry communicated with me promptly, professionally and sent Gary to do a survey within a couple of weeks.

They were sympathetic to my circumstances (disabled and chronically ill and unable to regulate my own body temperature, and already struggling with the heat so early in the year). Gary was friendly and professional, he listened to my needs and concerns, and quickly came up with a solution within my budget.

Zak then handled the sale and scheduling and got me a quick installation date at the beginning of June, having had to source specialist units.

On June 4th Stu the electrician arrived at the given time and worked around my limitations to start setting up the electrical installation. Soon after Gary arrived with his team, Jack W & Adam.

The whole team worked beautifully together, with a fantastic, friendly and informative dynamic of impressive professionalism, and installed the system. They were tidy, efficient, helpful and friendly. They answered all my questions along the way and made sure to involve me if decisions needed to be made.

The setup works beautifully, they left my house cleaner and tidier than when they arrived, and it was a true pleasure to watch them at work. I truly could not have wished for a better company to do the job and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for air conditioning solutions.

A genuinely good company, of highly qualified professionals, and genuinely good people. Turn that rating all the way up to 11.
