Provided a good service. The work was excellent. I’d definitely recommend this company for solar panel installation.

I am sharing my honest experience as the homeowner following an ECO4 heating installation carried out by Proximus Solutions Limited (trading as HeatZen) at my property in March 2026.
While a Worcester Bosch combi boiler was installed, the process resulted in severe technical defects, property damage, and missing legal paperwork. After independent audits by Tecnika and Simply Certification validated 11 official Non-Conformances on site, Proximus Director called me directly to offer a personal apology. He assured me he would take personal oversight of my case, act as my single point of contact, and personally follow up to ensure every physical, cosmetic, and technical issue was resolved to my satisfaction.
Unfortunately, those assurances were not kept:
Incomplete Technical Remedies: During a remedial visit in July, engineers successfully relocated the boiler flue vertically through the roof (resolving an initial issue where it was routed through a child's wardrobe). However, they failed to fix severe hydraulic shock (water hammer) across my pipework or properly commission/demonstrate the radiator controls.
Unfulfilled Promises & Abandoned Contact: Following the visit, I emailed Director Ateeb Mehmood detailed updates outlining what remained outstanding, including promised professional carpet cleaning for stains left by installers and repair of plaster/brickwork damage. Despite his explicit commitment to personally manage my case and call me back, he never contacted me again and ignored my correspondence.
Missing Statutory Safety Certificates: Months after the installation and flue alteration, Proximus has still failed to provide or register mandatory compliance paperwork, leaving me without a Gas Safe Register Certificate, Electrical Minor Works Certificate, Building Regulations Compliance Certificate, or Benchmark warranty sign-off.
Breached Scheme Deadlines: Proximus completely ignored the mandatory compliance deadline of 16th July set by their certification body (Simply Certification), despite my written confirmation offering full access and cooperation to complete the repairs.
On 24th July 2026, Simply Certification formally closed their complaint file as unresolved due to Proximus’s default, handing the case over to the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman (DRO).
I acted in complete good faith throughout, but being abandoned by senior management after clear promises leaves me no choice but to pursue resolution via the Ombudsman, the Gas Safe Register, and my Insurance Backed Guarantee provider.

Can’t fault them, amazing end to end service I had my solar panels and battery installed by Proximus. Really pleased that i made the decision as i have already started the savings come through. Thankyou!

We recently had solar panels fitted. After some teething problems, it was sorted efficiently and effectively and I couldn’t fault the wort ethic and Proximus standards. Would recommend

We recently had a new boiler fitted by this company and have found them very reliable. The installer arrived on time and was very efficient from start to finish, he even took away all the rubbish. It’s lovely to have instant hot water again. Would recommend.

I had my Tesla battery and solar panels installed by Proximus, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The installation was handled professionally, and I have been genuinely surprised by how much I am already saving on my electricity bills. We have a large house and an EV charger, so energy costs were a real concern for us.

I would happily recommend Proximus to anyone considering solar installation or battery storage. Great service and a very positive experience overall.
