Wow I was even able to talk to a real live person! I got a lot of help from Janice - much appreciated.

I needed car insurance for my brother's car for a week. It was a lot easier that I expected really. I bought it online with no fuss and it was not dear.

They got insurance for my niece to drive my car while she's here on holiday even though she's Australian with an Australian driving licence. We couldn't find any other insurer that would cover her for just a couple of weeks.
V impressed. Much cheaper than car hire.

Searching online for someone to cover my brother to borrow my car while he visits from Australia. These came up so went through the process of getting a quote, but they apparently can't cover my car make... Frustrating and time wasted!

Edit to say it’s a Range Rover Evoque in response to the reply. Hardly uncommon.

Edit again to say well that’s the car I have. And get insured every year. One star for customer service including misleading marketing, unhelpful chat, and suggestion that I try another car…

I only found the site by accident and they really should advertise more. It was clean and uncluttered and after filling in their car insurance quote form I got a whole stack of prices some of which were really cheap which was a surprise because I live in Birmingham and rates here can be pretty steep. If I have a criticism I thought there images were pretty naff but overall a good experience.

OK I don't have a fast Internet connection but after battling to load a number of car insurance sites I found this one. It loaded immediately, it was clear and concise, I got a really good quote and I bought online. Too many flashy sites tax my patience - speed matters!

A guy called Peter - sorry Peter I didn't catch your last name - went the extra mile to get me a decent quote when I was struggling to find a policy for my imported Japanese Corolla. Well done.
