I appreciated that it was only $1 versus the $14 that my state's DMV site charges. Quick, easy transaction. Also gives you other types of public-available records.
Sent me the report extremely quick, and sent an email asking if I need any more information to just let them know.. That's called great customer service...
Don't use this service
The same thing happened to me...I authorized the 1.00 but not the 28.95 - will be having this charge reversed as soon as possible! Will try to call the company first. Used the service for 1.00 08/27 then on 08/30 a charge of 28.95 - just now noticed that today!

I think this company adds unauthorised payments to your credit card.
I think this company doesn't have legit practices. I used it to search for my CA DMV records and paid $1 for the service.
Immediately after, I received texts messages that seemed suspicious asking for more personal details.
Then, 2 days later, I noticed a $28.95 charge on my card that I NEVER authorised. When I called them they told me they would 'close my account', which I never opened, and issue a refund. The refund came through straight away. But, I strongly suspect this company uses the DMV check to phish for details.
I never authorised a $28.95 payment or opened an account.
