I was sceptical on arrival as I knew the subject matter was another level above what I had previously been taught. The last first aid training I had completed was well over four years ago. Added to this was the fact I was concerned others would have far more experience and that I might be slowing the class down grasping what was being taught. Craig however put me at ease as questions I raised were explained in a simplified manner which I could understand. The group I was with immediately gelled with various experiences on board. The course was really well balanced with theory based work put into practical examples where I gained more confidence as the week progressed. A thoroughly enjoyable course with an excellent teacher at the fore.

With no recent First Responder experience, I knew I would find the FREC3 course demanding. My fairs were however allayed by the professional approach shown by Craig throughout this experience. His delivery on a range of topics both theory and practicals was informative, but at the same enjoyable with a “sprinkling of humour” thrown in for good measure. I came away from the course feeling more confident in my new found knowledge. I would certainly recommend Pulse South Coast in the future. Thanks for the experience.

Wow what incredible training. Really enjoyed my FREC 3 course. I feel so confident in being a competent first responder as well as becoming a better trainer. Throughout the 5 days Craig managed to keep me engaged, he was so knowledgeable and it was FUN. The scenarios were just brilliant! We were on tenterhooks waiting for the next event to occur. I would highly recommend Pulse South Coast to anyone.

Craig is an engaging and entertaining instructor. This was a very well run course with a good mix of Classroom and scenario based training. The scenarios were realistic and challenging and really helped to reinforce the classroom learning. I would like to do it all over again!

From our first contact through to the actual event, the service provided by Pulse South Coast was professional and friendly.
Craig was quick to respond to our initial enquiry. He kept us informed of the names of the staff attending our event and sent us copies of their certificates for our records.
Hannah and Jade, who attended our event, were fabulous - thankfully their first aid skills were not required!

Brilliant to work with, easy & smooth to arrange the course I wanted, punctual, replies in good time and very knowledgeable. Trained me and 2 of my guys that work for me, very understanding when we had questions and gave me future advice for making sure I meet standards for first aid. Will definetly use again when we need to refresh. Wouldn't hesitate to reccomend and have already reccomended Craig to someone I know.

Pulse South Coast was very efficient and professional during our football tournament which had a footfall of over 4000 people. Lead first aider Craig even stayed until the very last people left going above and beyond what we requested.

I had been trying to find a first aid course suitable for several members of staff who are night workers and soon discovered there just wasn't anything available outside the standard 9-5 Mon - Fri options. Then I came across Pulse South Coast who were able to run a bespoke course for me, in our office, at exactly the time I needed, meaning I could finally get my guys qualified. Craig has also helped me to ensure that I have the correct first aid kits at all my locations. And finally, here's a comment from our Operations Director...

Craig’s presentation was clear, informative and interesting. There was an opportunity for hands-on use of defibrillators and to practice CPR. I would feel more confident to use a difib now, although hope it’s never necessary!

I attended a training course for First Responders in Emergency Care with Pulse South Coast. The trainer was extremely knowledgeable and was thoroughly engaging. We had plenty of practice opportunities to develop our confidence and competence. I really recommend training with Pulse South Coast.

All particpants in our training session were impressed by the trainer who gave a really clear, concise and profesional session.

I had a short free session on ‘Restart a heart day’ which I left feeling confident I would know what to do in an emergency situation. It’s all I wanted. I got to practice CPR chest pumps (which was surprisingly difficult!) and practice putting on a defibrillator (which I didn’t even know what one looked like before). I’m so so glad I went and now feel if I was ever faced with an emergency situation, I can improve someone’s chances of surviving.

Craig is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and easy approachable person.
I have successfully completed First Aid and Fire Marshal courses conducted by him.
The theory part is as good as practical in both courses. Excellent materials provided for both theory and practical parts.
There are quite e few real life scenarios/ situations recreated/organised by Craig where you have to work as a team or on your own and apply all the theory/information that you have just learnt. This gives you better understanding and idea of the role you are learning about.
