I have to say that if your thinking of doing a bootcamp of any kind, do some research and learning. This will help you so much!
at purple beard, I have found the teachers and the support staff approachable, helpful and knowledgeable.
Yes its a bootcamp, we run through things quickly, but if your serious about changing career, spending 3 or 4 hours a week additional to the course is nothing. So after each bootcamp session, practice, learn, create and try things, then if you cant resolve them ask your tutor. Purple beard are excellent at this, the tutors will learn things just to educate you!
But, and this is a big but, the whole idea of the bootcamp is to get you a job, change industry or improve your current job. Purple beard send out job lists with jobs that are completely irrelevant and ask for different skills to the ones you are learning, they even include training jobs at other bootcamp providers where you would have to pay lots of money to do their training.
The general interview, cv, etc soft skills support is good, but they really don't try much with jobs in the northeast. I guess the main area for this company is London and that's where any companies they have links with operate.
Also consider this if you are over 35, your chances in the IT industry are slim any way, ageism, look into it and look at the junior and trainee jobs in your area, this will give you an idea of opportunities. Without an introduction or relevant experience your chances of securing a related trainee/junior-level job are slim to zero.
Try and find a bootcamp that guarantees you an interview, they are available!

Currently undergoing training in Front End Development. The course is taking place part time over 4 evenings a week. The course is absolutely fantastic and the trainers are outstanding across the board, particularly Hugh who has been a great support with extra help where I needed it. We have also had a new trainer join us for React and just when I thought the training couldn’t get any better, Suraj came along and proved me wrong. Can’t wait for the rest of the course.

The best training institute for technical skills bootcamp in north east region. They provide good career oriented teaching material and assessment based curriculum. I'll definitely recommend purple beard for technical skills bootcamps like data analysis, Python programming, full stack development and cloud engineering.

I had a fantastic experience on the Python for Data Analytics boot camp. It was intense and definitely not easy however I was supported throughout the whole process by my instructor. There was a great degree of patience and understanding shown if I ever had to miss classes due to my schedule. I also felt the staff are genuinely invested in my success and got 1 on 1 appointments to answer any questions I had. I would recommend this for anyone serious about learning a new skill, but also willing to meet the staff halfway and put in the work to make the most of the excellent teaching and resources offered.

It was a brilliant experience, I completed the Cloud bootcamp, the material was useful and enjoyed the hands-on experience.
Tutor and staff were supportive all the way.

I had a fantastic experience. The data analyst course was intense but the skills learnt are very valuable and are what employers are looking for.

The staff were very friendly and have kept in contact post-course, but the teaching quality was poor - the teacher was not engaging and I don’t feel l learnt a lot.

I had a fantastic experience. Tutor's were fabulous, friendly and professional. We had enough support on and off class sessions. Employability support was great, we were provided with professional guide on landing jobs and building up profile. Overall, it was learning made easy

The career side could be better the cv writing classes were very good but there was very few suitable work opertunitys Forwarded after the course but overall a great course and very worthwhile
