The QR codes expire very quickly and cost a fortune.

The QR codes expire very quickly, I was forced to pay $190AUS to keep it active as I had literally just launched my advertising campaign based on the code I had created. Would never recommend. Would never use again. It's a scam.

We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly with an active campaign underway. We fully understand how critical uninterrupted QR code functionality is once materials have been distributed.

We'd like to clarify how our plans work: our service includes a 7-day trial period during which all dynamic QR code features are fully accessible. Once the trial period concludes, static QR codes will continue to function as normal. Dynamic QR codes which include editing capabilities, scan tracking, and analytics require an active subscription to remain operational.

Please also note that subscription activation is always initiated by the user and only takes effect upon completion of the checkout process. No subscription is applied automatically.

Full details regarding QR code functionality and our available plans are outlined in our Terms and Conditions and are also presented during the account setup process.

This is the same company as qrcodecreator.com - the company obviously isn't content with a single scamming website. Basically there is nothing free about this service - you need to pay after 7 days or your QR code gets cancelled. OFC by then you have likely used it on printed material so are held to ransom.
Avoid and use a genuine free QR code generator

Our platform provides a 7 day trial period to allow users to fully explore the service before making a decision. During this time all features remain active. After the trial period ends dynamic QR codes require an active plan to continue operating as they rely on ongoing hosting and analytics services. If no plan is selected these codes are paused and can be reactivated at any time.

We aim to present all plan details clearly during setup and we continuously improve how this information is communicated based on user feedback.
