This expedition was one of the most amazing experiences I've had in my short life! Firstly, they are excellent with covid restrictions and rules. They tried their best to isolate us from the city before boarding the boat, ensured everyone had two negative covid tests within a certain period of time, and being mask compliant on the boat, along with social distancing and temperature checks.

My favorite parts were the hikes and snorkeling. The guides are naturalists and extremely well trained. They are knowledgeable and up to date with current research of the flora and fauna on the islands. The education gained is priceless and really helps us to appreciate the evolutionary wonders of the islands. Snorkeling with the marine animals was a crazy experience! I never taught I would enjoy it because I'm terrified of the deep ocean, but the guides are well trained and keep a look out for everyone at all times.

Lastly, the service in the boat is excellent. All service staff including the manager to the staff we don't see working behind the scenes work very hard to give us the best experience on the boat.

I highly recommend Quasar to anyone considering going to the Galapagos! They made my bucket list trip worth every penny and I will never forget the experiences on the islands :)

Had a wonderful time exploring the Galápagos Islands on the M/V Evolution! The yacht was wonderful and the crew was wonderful. Every day was packed with new animals, fun interactions, delicious food and drink. The staff was great helping us plan our travels through Quito also.

A PERFECT and much needed escape. Even with concerns of traveling during this pandemic, we felt assured that conditions would be safe aboard the Evolution and they were. So many layers of protection were in place with testing (for Ecuador and the also the Galapagos specifically), masks, social distancing, sanitization, etc. We felt very well taken care of in that regard...but even more we were so well taken care of as passengers on this beautiful yacht in this amazing, breath taking location. The Galapagos Islands had long been in one of the top spots of my bucket list. I can't imagine any better way to have checked it off. Many thanks to every crew member and naturalist on board and all those whom I worked with before hand to make this trip of a lifetime happen. I highly recommend choosing Quasar for your Galapagos cruise...especially if you need to escape for a week.

Everything about our week aboard M/Y Grace was exceptional! As a crew, their work was flawless. From our rooms kept shipshape and perfectly comfortable, to the most delicious and flavorful meals and desserts, to the irresistible cold beverages, to the humming sound of an engine well run, to the safe and relaxing transportation from island to island, to the patient panga drivers who waited while we snorkeled, to the naturalists who made the experience rich with learning, to all the organization where our day was timed to perfection - the crew allowed us to experience Galapagos in the most awesome possible way!! There were so many highlights, and each day was packed with unique adventures. Along with our three children (ages 10-15), we were overwhelmed with joy to snorkel with sea lions (so playful underwater), penguins (over 20 passing us at once), a few hammerhead sharks, nearly 100 turtles throughout the week, a marine iguana, and dozens of beautiful, colorful fish species. Most amazing was our close proximity to all the marine life! We cruised with dozens of dolphins leaping out of the water, and we explored an island filled with nesting birds including nazca and red-footed boobies. To quote my son, "this is the best week of my life!" And certainly our greatest experience immersed in nature!

Our trip to Ecuador and Galapagos in January was one of the best trips my husband and I have ever taken. It had the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, very knowledgeable tour guides and interesting travel companions. We were also thankful for all the planning and organization that Quasar put into making our trip a success. The hotels, tours etc were all great. Thank you to Quasar particularly Diane for making our trip flow seamlessly.

Very disappointed with the customer service and refund policy
Our trip was cancelled due to COVID 19. We are in the age category and health situation that the CDC has recommended that we not travel. We are no longer comfortable traveling and being on a boat, Quaser has refused a refund and will only allow credit on a future trip. We paid a substantial sum for a trip we will never take.
Surely in light of the world situation a company should be more flexible . Their stand is that they they have the legal right to do this. We understand this, but the world has changed. Even the airlines and cruise lines are being flexible
I do not recommend booking or paying any money to this company as you stand to lose it all if they cancel your trip.
This is terrible customer care in today's world crisis

A truly exceptional experience! Top-notch service, food, eco-guides, equipment, facilities. It really was above and beyond expectations. I will remember the wonderful people and magical marine/ animal/ nature for a lifetime! THANK YOU for a brilliant trip!

This was one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken. The staff and crew were excellent. Our guides revealed to us so many wonders of nature. The accomodations were spectacular and the food was great. We would recommend this cruise to anyone.

A truly excellent travel experience. The planning stage was superlative and both segments of my trip, the Galapagos and Sacha Lodge, far exceeded my expectations. Our trip of a lifetime to the Galápagos Islands on the the Evolution was spectacular. The service aboard the ship was just wonderful. There was nothing they wouldn’t do to make you feel comfortable. The food was delicious ! Anything you wanted they would accommodate you. The naturalists were just great. They knew everything and went out of their way to make sure you saw everything. It was such a special trip and we were lucky enough to have such a wonderful group aboard to share the experience with. Thank you all for a very special trip

Quasar planned our two week vacation to Chile for us.In preparation, they asked us in detail about our preferences for sites and experiences. They listened carefully, proposed options and implemented all our choices.We picked three areas in the country on which to focus and Quasar provided both terrific accommodations and outstanding guides who made each stop a comprehensive, inclusive exposure to the people and places. The Corona virus burst on the scene just as we were starting our trip. We ran into many other travelers whose plans were crushed by cruise or flight cancellations or requirements by their governments that they come home immediately. Our timing was extremely fortunate; the only direct impact for us was the closure of the National Parks which were to be two days of our Patagonia stay. Our guide, Trisha, took advantage of close friends she had in the area and drove us into their lands to observe, and participate, in the sheep ranching estancias of her friends. And she took us to park-adjacent areas of beautiful countryside, rivers and falls where our desired photographic opportunities abounded! We also met the people she knew and felt the warm hospitality they extended. Trisha's knowledge of the area and quickness to adapt our program to these unforeseen events meant that our trip was not substantially affected. The timing was so tight that the last two hotels we stayed in were closing the day of our departure due to the crisis. Our fortune held as our flights home were unaffected and we completed our vacation with so many wonderful experiences and memories. Quasar kept checking in to see if we felt we needed to change our plans, and supported Trisha as she adapted our schedules when we chose to stay. We would welcome another opportunity to work with Quasar on the next vacation!

I cannot praise Quasar enough for making our trip to the Galapagos as perfect as could be. Everything about the experience was five-stars, from first email contact through the last goodbyes at the airport. Before the trip we experienced the best in customer service and thoughtful planning, preparing us for every step of the process. Once on the trip, the naturalists were extremely knowledgeable and experienced; the crew was professional, friendly and gracious. As vegans we were feted with specially prepared dishes at every meal, an extra effort we could not have anticipated and impressed us deeply. It was the trip of a lifetime.

I went on the same boat last October and booked again because every single aspect of the trip exceeded my expectations. The itinerary and staff ratio led me to book the first time, but the food, accommodations, and crew made it an easy choice for trip #2. The islands are wildly different depending on the season, I definitely recommend going more than once!

The guides are excellent and the small groups lend to not only seeing the animals up close but also amazing pictures. If you're into focusing on the scenery other guests are always glad to share photos (airdrop saved me this trip as I left my DLSR at home).

I've done both trips solo but would also return for a 3rd (or more!) trip with a friend or my boyfriend. I'm sure a +1 would be great but as for solo trips, booking with Quasar is by far my favorite. The other guests are good fun and every detail is handled making this the most refreshing week ever. I love that there is no guest phone/wifi service on the boat, I hope that never changes.

Food is excellent. I'm vegetarian and was very impressed with their attention to detail and always having separate plates for those of us with dietary requirements/preferences. I requested almond milk and on the first breakfast I was promptly brought a glass before I could even pour my coffee.

Outside of the boat, Quasar's level of service is remarkable. I (half-joking) emailed Diane for a local orthodontist recommendation since I melted my retainer on day one of my week prior to the cruise, when they didn't catch me at the hotel - they called my guide en route to our excursion with an appointment scheduled that day. I was impressed but not surprised given their excellence with every other detail of my previous trip.

Speaking of recs, Diane's suggestion to stay at Hacienda Jimenita the week before my cruise was also wonderful and I would definitely stay there again! I didn't even have to think of my flight, Quasar organized everything with the hotel for my transfer and pickup time.

I cannot imagine visiting the Galapagos with anyone other than Quasar and have recommended them to all of the friends and coworkers that have asked about my trip.

This was the most fabulous vacation my family has ever been on (and I have been to 48 countries!) and thank you for all of your efforts in advance of the trip, Paul. The service, food, accommodations, excursions, and most especially the tour guides (having three instead of two for our group of 32 was wonderful) made this a seamless and beautiful experience. I have already highly recommended you to a number of people and will continue to rave about our experience aboard the Evolution.

I had a wonderful trip on the M/Y Grace. The staff and crew were incredible and the amenities on the yacht were well-designed. I strongly recommend booking your Galapagos trip with Quasar.

My husband and I were on the Beagle for a 7 day cruise last week. Our naturalist Walter was so very knowledgeable and passionate about his Galapagos.He was patient and looked after his group like a mother hen!Making sure all were accounted for. All of the crew was efficient and so friendly. Fernando cooked up healthy and delicious meals. Tricky,Miguel were great. Captain Washington was a great navigator.This is a very special place and I just hope it stays that way.The only negative was that upon returning from Galapagos to Quito we were bumped on our Latam flight.Not sure I would fly that airline ever again.

Quasar Expeditions far exceeded all of our expectations for our week-long Galapagos cruise on M/Y Grace. The classically designed yacht was impeccably maintained, the suite spacious, the food delicious, and travel connections and bookings seamless.

The most extraordinary part of our experience, however, were the Quasar travel consultants, the crew aboard M/Y Grace, and the two Naturalist Guides who enlightened us and helped us to share their love for the Galapagos Islands. From start to finish, the Quasar team made us feel like family.

We would absolutely travel with Quasar Expeditions again in the future, in fact, we're currently deciding the dates for our next Galapagos cruise on M/Y Grace.
